It was 9:00a.m. I was lying in my bed thinking of nothing but Steven. Why is he so complicated? Is he hiding something from me? My phone began to beep.1

I read the message with tears in my eyes. I couldn’t believe it. He is so wonderful and sweet! I began to cry, a happy cry of course. Steven loves me! He really loves me. I could scream for happiness. I turned on the music. I jumped on my bed. I was holding my cell. What should I text him?14

I run down the stairs and made me a sandwich. I was so happy. Happy, happy… All the time I looked at the clock. The time moved too slowly. I couldn’t stand still. I didn’t know what to do. I waited like forever. I thought the time will never pass.27

Steven P.O.V:29

I was settling on the edge of my bed thinking about Kelly. I pick up my cell phone. I need to apologize to her. I need to text her. She needs to know that I care about her, that I love her.30

I began to text. I’ve waited for her reply… Waited, waited… Suddenly my dad went in. 31

“What do you think you’re doing?”32

I hid my cell under the pillow. 33

“Nothing…”34

“So get up and do something. Go eat your fucking breakfast.”35

I went downstairs leaving my phone.36

As I went upstairs, I looked for my cell phone. But it wasn’t there anymore. Oh, fuck! My dad got it. I went back downstairs. I looked for my dad. But he was gone. Where can he be? Did he reply to Kelly? Oh, no! What should I do?37

Kelly P.O.V:39

I fixed up myself. As I was finish, I looked at my clock. It was exactly 12:30nn. So I was ready to go. This time I took the bus. I knew that I wouldn’t be in time if I drove with my bike to the next city. I hate buses, but I would do anything just to see Steven, even if I got to ride in a bus.40

I’ve waited for Steven at the food court. I get my phone from my jeans pocket.41

I dialed Kelly’s cell phone number on the phone I’ve got to tell her that my dad was the one texting her.48

“Hello?” I heard Kelly.49

“Hi, it’s me Steven.”50

“What, I can’t hear you.”51

“It’s- It’s me Steven!” I said louder.52

“Oh hi, where are you?”53

“I’m at home!”54

“Why are you at home? I thought we are going to meet at the mall?” She sounded angry now.57

“Look out for my dad!”58

“My dad… He texted you, not me!”60

“What I- I can’t hear you! It’s too loud here!”61

“Kelly, just go home, okay?!”62

“Huh, why?”63

“My dad is at the mall!”64

“You’re dad what?”65

*Click* the line broke up.66

“Kelly, Kelly? Can you hear me? Are you still there? Kelly?”67

But nothing, the line was dead.68

Damn it! Why am I so stupid? Why did I text her? Why didn’t I just break up with her for good? Nothing of that would have happened to her. It’s my fucking fault! I closed my eyes. I saw Kelly; she was unconscious lying in the backseat of my father’s car. 69

“Kelly!” I heard my voice calling out to her. 70

“Wake up, Kel!”71

She opened her eyes.72

“Steven?”73

“I’m in your head, Kelly. Can you hear me?”74

“Yes, I can. Where are you?”75

“I’m here at home. But I’m coming to get you, okay? I will find you.”76

“Steven, I- I love you.”77

“I know, Kelly. I love you too! You’re the best thing that ever happened to me. Love you, Kelly. Don’t ever forget that.”78

I opened my eyes and I was at my room again.79

I need to find her, but how?80

Kelly P.O.V:82

“Where are you taking me?” I asked Steven’s father. He didn’t answer me. He just focused on the road. How could that have happened to me? I should have listened to Steven. But I can’t. I love Steven too much. A life without him I couldn’t bare. I looked outside the car window. I don’t know where I am. I’m so scared. I wish Steven could be beside me, holding me in his arms. But he is nowhere to be seen. Suddenly the car stopped. Steven’s father got out grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the car. 83

I looked around and noticed that I was at the airport. 84

“What… what are we doing here?” I asked scared.85

“You come with me.” He said. 86

“Where?”87

“Don’t ask questions young lady.” He said solemnly and looked at me with his angry blue eyes. His eyes really reminded me of Steven. Steven’s father grabbed me harder and pulled me inside the airport.88

“Shut your mouth, if you say one word I will kill you. Do you understand me?”89

I kept quiet and still. 90

“I said do you understand me, dammit?!”91

“I thought I wasn’t allowed to speak.” I answered him. 92

He rolled his eyes. I kept quiet when he bought the tickets to London. The woman on the counter smiled at me. 93

“Have a nice trip!” She said. 94

I faked a smile and said,” Thank you.” 95

Steven’s father looked at me but then he smiled at the Lady. 96

“Yes, thank you. My daughter and I will enjoy it. Isn’t that right, hon?”97

“Yes, dad…” I said and faked a smile again. 98

The woman looked at us confused but didn’t say anything.99

We continued our way to the check up. The security guard checked us up. He smiled at me and I just looked at him with no expression. Why does everyone keep on smiling at me? I need to do something but I’m too scared. He said he will kill me when I say just one word. I thought for a while.100

“Excuse me, can I go to the comfort room?” I asked Steven’s father.101

“No,” was his only reply.102

“But I’ve got to go.”103

“Wait until we are inside the airplane.”104

“But… I… I need to go now! Please?” I begged. 105

He looked at his watch and then to me. He sighed.106

“Oh, but don’t do anything stupid and remember I have your phone so you can’t make any phone calls to him.” 107

I just nodded. I went to the restroom, Steven’s father right behind me. I opened the door.108

“Won’t take long.” I said to him.109

“I hope so, if not you know what I’m gonna do to you.”110

I swallowed hard and went inside the restroom. I suddenly was in panic. I didn’t have any idea what to do. I felt the tears coming. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I took my blade from my pocket and begin to cut myself, not one cut. I did 7 cuts in my right arm and 7 at the other side. I felt dizzy. The all blood was tripping on the floor. I sat at the corner of the bathroom, my head bowed to the ground. 111

“Kelly, are you finished?”112

I could hear his voice. I closed my eyes…113

Steven’s P.O.V:115

I saw Kelly inside the bathroom. I saw blood all over her arms. No, Kelly, why did you do that? She was at the airport. My dad wants to bring her to London? Why? I was inside my car driving to the airport. I hope I can make it.116

At the airport I ran to the ticket counter and bought myself a ticket. 117

“Have a nice trip.” The woman said but I just ignored her because I saw my father. He was outside the Lady’s room waiting for Kelly to come out. He was saying something but I was too far to hear anything. Suddenly I felt something on my head…118
