Ravenpaw's Journey : Story 2: The Storm

Ravenpaw woke up the next day,to hear the rain pouring down on the barn roof.1

"Barley," he hissed.2

The plump tom opened his amber eyes."What is it?"3

"It's raining,but it is louder then usual." He said.4

Barley smiled."Good,I can sleep well today!" The tom went back to sleep.5

Ravenpaw stretched & trugged across the barn floor & peeked outside,it was raining,but very hard & the wind was blowing very quick.He widened his eyes when he saw a huge funnel of strong wind & dust,it was heading torwards them!Sucking up everything in it's path!6

"Barley!Something is heading towards us!" he yowled.7

Barley leaped up.Bristling."What is it?"8

Ravenpaw nudged the tom to the entrance,"Look for yourself!"9

Barley leaped back after he was done looking."I-I met a cat before who travels far,his name was Sol,he said-he said they are tornado's!We need to hide!Now!"10

Ravenpaw nodded & they ran out of the barn & into a tunnel under a thunderpath nearby.11

"We should be safe in here!" hissed Barley.12

Ravenpaw backed up into something,furry.13

He looked back & noticed Firestar's sister.Princess.14

"Princess!What are you doing?" he gasped.15

Princess lashed her tail."Hiding from the storm!My twolegs ran out of our home & I lost them!But I am hiding here!"16

Barley touched his nose to her ear."Don't worry.We'll be safe here,lets go look around & find some place to sleep."17

Princess & Ravenpaw nodded & they searched threw the tunnels.They went threw one tunnel,it came into a open place.Water rushing in it & mice everywhere,"Perfect!" purred Barley.18

They built nests & fell asleep,above them was very loud,as if the tornado was going across the top of them.
