Becky-Anne;2
I want to hide away From you; embarrassed.3
For I was in love with you;4
But you were only playing games.5
How was I to know?6
You were my first;7
The experience I shan’t forget.8
You crushed me in the play ground;9
When you dismissed me as a joke;10
In front of, all our friends.11
I cried, hot tears of hurt and anger;12
Humiliated; frustrated in pain.13
I ran away from you14
Theirs and your laughter in my ears15
I am in love with you;16
Becky-Anne!17
I will never tell you again18
Afraid for any to see but myself;19
I will shroud my torch;20
That I carry for you.21
It may dim and gutter at times;22
But I’ll trim the wick,23
And keep it bright.24
Becky-Anne;25
You crushed me.26
But you couldn’t put out the light.27
