Soliloquists

Silent Whispers that spiral and disguise1

The sweet silver smile that sleeps in your eyes2

We never speak the words we intend3

Stained and disheveled4

Awkwardly hemmed5

But we are Brilliant Soliloquists6

To our imaginary audience7

Knotted up in string and coarse brown twine8

In half sorrow, half sleep9

You restlessly lie10

...and lose yourself to Fever Dreams11

Nightmare memories12

Images in tattered reams13

Fluttering past at the Holy Light's speed14

the people you're lost15

the comfort you need16

Author notes

Uhm.

Unfinished poem that is under the transformation into a song.

I was listening to way too much Neutral Milk Hotel at the time. I wonder if you can notice : P
