Megaman X: Cyberdiaries of a Reploid, The Sigmanian Chronicle

Entry, January 12, 21XX.1

Today, our leader Sigma, was taken by a virus spread by Cain's last reploid, Zero, however, Zero, transferred the virus and now we are under his rule. Unfortunately for us, when Sigma left, he took with him legions of Reploids, which we have now labelled "Mavericks." 2

Dr. Cain has sent me to investigate a city nearby, where a highway in the center of town has been destroyed. I Mega Man X, now have to find a reason for life to exist. I could have chosen another path, but now, with Sigma on the loose, I have to swallow my pride to defend the human race from persecution, and rule of the evils of the world. 3

We were right, Zero and I, it was a maverick that destroyed downtown Suburbia, and a powerful one at that, his name is vile, and he's Sigma's General, and third-in-command. It was because of him that Zero proved that I'm weak, and that is not a good thing. I'm now very mad, and I wanna cry, but I won't. 4

Entry January 13 21XX,6

We've located the eight locations where Sigma's Mavericks are hiding, but we still have no idea where Sigma and Vile are at, they are obviously somewhere far, because we cannot scan them with our long range scanner. 7

I didn't expect Armored Armadillo to be one of the targets though, but I'm ready, and I will fight to the death if I have to, so beware Sigma, I will win!8

Entry Jan. 14 21XX,10

I killed Chill Penguin and Spark Mandrill today, Chill didn't want to die, but he had to pay for the things that he put us through, so, good riddance to him, from X, Spark wanted to die, so I just fulfilled his wish, I hope that he realizes his faults from then on. I know that somehow I'm going to have to face these people again, and I'm not going to like it one bit, because it isn't fun at all. I upgraded my feet and I now have the dash ability. 11

Entry Jan. 15 21XX,13

I finished Armored Armadillo, who was once a good friend of mine. And then I had to kill Launch Octopus, who is one of Sigma's most prized Mavericks, well, good riddance from X! I got an upgrade! I now have my body upgrade, all that is left is my cannon and head upgrade. 14

Entry Jan. 16 21XX,16

Well, today, it had to be Boomer Kuwanger and Sting Chameleon, why! They are some of the hardest Mavericks I've ever had to face, oh well, I won, so that's good to know, and Zero says I just rely on dumb-blind luck. So that is good news, I guess, I've also been upgraded again, I got some more hearts and my energy meter is higher.17

Entry Jan. 17 21XX19

Before I killed Storm Eagle, which was fairly easy, I have to say. I upgraded my head, and now I have the headbutting ability. That should help me alot. Then I moved on to Flame Mammoth's Power plant, which was frozen solid because of my destruction of Chill Penguin. I also upgraded my Arm Cannon! I can shoot shots that used to be impossible for me!20

Entry Jan. 18 21XX22

We found the floating isle of Sigma, what's next? I had to defeat several of the Mavericks that used to trouble me, Zero is Dead! I had to kill Vile thanks to Zero and I was successful! and then I had to kill this annoying spider, and then I made it to the next part of the isle, where I killed more mavericks and this wall that I know Dr. Cain Designed, then I moved on to the third part. I had to kill a weird thing called the D-Rex, which was annoying to kill. And then I entered Sigma's lair, where I took on his wolf, which was easy to kill, then I fought Sigma himself, using my inherited power from Spark Mandrill. And then Sigma's decapitated head floated up into a giant form of his wolf, and I had to use the Rebound Shield which was from my friend the Armored Armadillo, and I killed that creature, destroying the island. Now I'm without Zero and having to face the world alone!23
