To Forks and Back: Almost To Whitefish, Montana

Right now we're stopped somewhere in Montana. We're not getting to Whitefish for a while yet. 1

I'm looking out the window and I'm seeing actual mountains. Seriously, actual white capped mountains. This is HUGE for a small town girl like me. I was actually singing Small Town Girl by Journey earlier, and I got a lot of the other people in the car to sing along. 2

Now we've eaten supper and I'm looking at the ivory peaks that are miles away. They look unreal- as if they're just an illusion of the mind. The tops are covered with fog, and I'm just completely breathless.3
