Winter's Return

As winter drew near, I thought of memories fond and dear, yet some still remained depressing.  I feel sometimes like I am sliding back into those unpleasant moments.  Those times when crying and solemnity sapped my energy and life.  I glanced at the snowflakes, reminding me of how I continue to feel weak and dead inside.  With death comes rebirth and even in my darkest moments, I could never take away my life.  I realized a blade could never cure this tangling pain, and could never ease the loss that comes with such a tragic event.  1

Author notes

This was originally going to be a drabble, but when I finished it, I discovered it was supposed to be fiction, and this story is true to my life. A drabble is a short work of fiction exactly 100 words in length, and is usually used in science fiction and fan fiction. This site explains it better than I do.

I'm sure this story is pretty self-explanatory.
Please feel free to critique, comment, ask questions, or give suggestions! I'd really like to hone my story writing skills.

Thanks!

Aww, you see the snow flake and you feel dead. But there is so much more to see in a snowflake, like it's intricate patterns and beauty. Always see the other side, don't settle for what your evil brain wants to make it out to be.
