A Random Day in the Life of Me

I was surprised my old alarm clock was still alive after several years of heavy poundings. And today's beating couldn't have helped it's cause.

The obnoxious buzzing finally pulled me out of my dreams (which I so desperately wanted to return to) and into the still looming darkness of my bedroom. I pulled open my shades in attempt to brighten up the room, but it didn't help. It just brought me closer to the reality that I was awake. And I was going to school. And Matt would be there. Shit. That thought made me both want to crawl into a ball, and never come out, and dance with happiness. I continued to confuse myself into eternity.2

I thought about that a little more as I got dressed. Today's number was a green tank top, with navy blue skinny jeans, green flip flops, and a white hoodie. Not my best creation, but it would do.3

After, I headed downstairs, to pour myself some cereal. I also attempted to drink the strange pineapple substance my dad called juice. But that was hopeless. I then went back upstairs to brush my teeth and hair, and to apply some makeup. I groaned, my hair was having one of those days.
  5

I slung my lime-green backpack over my shoulder, said goodbye to my dad, and walked outside to the bus stop. I waited there for a few minutes before our bus came around the corner to pick us up.  6

  7

My friend Brooke sat with me when we got to her stop, then we listened to "Lonely No More" and "This is How a Heart Breaks" by Rob Thomas, all the way to school.8

 9

I had homeroom before Spanish, my first period class. There I continued to pull on my friend Jackson's sea of black curls until I thought they would no longer bounce back. Also leaving us a not-so-happy Jackson. 10

  11

Then I was off to band. Unarguably my most favorite and least favorite class of the day. And that I could blame on Matt. I got there late because my Spanish teacher, My. Sandberg, always let us out late. This left me one seat. Next to Matt. Dammit.12

We both played saxophone though, and usually sat together, so I was not surprised or really nervous. Just a little. He looked up as I sat down, not smiling, but equally nervous himself. Then Jeff turned to me, as my band teacher, Mr. Hovey, aid something that was most likely meaningless.

 14

"Anna, Matt loves you," Jeff said, seemingly proud of himself. I laughed a little, there was no way. But the look of shock painted on Matt's face spoke otherwise.15

"Do you want me to bash your head in, Jeff?" he asked, eyeing me, probably searching for my reaction. I continued to stare anywhere but the conversation taking place. Matt didn't have to worry, I would never believe Jeff.16

We resumed playing, and barely spoke for the rest of the class, which I was angry with Jeff for.17

My next period was Science, where I watched Dominic to see if he indeed, stared at Brooke for the entire class. And he did.18

I walked with my friend Diana to our next class. Math. Nothing exciting ever happened there. So that left me bored out of my mind until lunch.
I sat with almost all of my friends at lunch. Marissa, Victoria, Katie, Erin, Diana, Garret, Brooke, Kristen and Ali. With the rotating lunches, there was almost always someone to sit with. 19

Fifth period brought English, where I sat next to Sheryl and Brianne. We all think my English teacher is a vampire. Well, Garret came up with that.
I had Tech sixth. My Tech teacher is such a geek. Diana Garret and I played with anti-swine (hand-sanitizer) for most of the class. All except for when we played with legos. And not I am not five, I'm thirteen.20

  21

And for the last period of the day, I had social studies with Puff Daddy (Garret came up with this too). She is just really big. But besides my teacher, Matt was in this class. Along with his best friend, Brittany. I try not to get jealous. But I think I caught him staring four times, who's counting though? 22

  23

Finally, after seventh period, I had running club with Brooke and Ashley. I think this whole running thing is growing on me. My mom picked me up an hour later, and took me to Diana's house.24

 25

There we went for a walk down to the pond, and took some random pictures. Next, the part I had been waiting for all day. Using Diana's Ouija Board. Yes, we talked to ghosts, and we found out some very interesting
information. 26

 27

I went home after that, and settled down to do some homework, and watch my beloved Red Sox. I wrote a quick entry in my journal, and went to bed. Good night!!!
