“Right..” said Kakashi and they all started walking. 3

'The next ninja they send won’t be Chunin, they’ll be Jonin- a elite ninja with deadly skills..' thought Kakashi and sighed.4

'Gr! I’m not letting Sasuke get all the glory this time, believe it!' thought Naruto and ran ahead than threw a kunai in a random area.5

“Over there!” yelled Naruto and everyone stopped- wide-eyed. “Heh, it was just a mouse.” said Naruto acting as if he’s a big hero. Both Sakura and Tazuna frowned angrily at him.6

“Mouse! Yeah right, Naruto! Everyone can see though your stupid act! It’s so obvious it’s embarrassing!” scalded Sakura.7

“Naruto.. those are kunai knives- their dangerous.” warned Kakashi.8

“Grr! Stop trying to scare me you scruffy little dwarf!” yelled Tazuna, but Naruto paid not attention to him.9

“Hey, is someone hiding over there? No, their over there! Hey, hey!” Kakashi suddenly felt a presents near by and glanced behind him. “Over there!” shouted Naruto and threw another kunai.10

“That’s it Naruto!” yelled Sakura and clunked him over the head. Sora rubbed her temples in annoyance.11

“Wh-why’d you do that? Someone really is following us and I mean it!” argued Naruto.12

"Maybe so but we wouldn't be able to hear thanks to you acting stupid!" snapped Sora.13

"I'm not acting stupid!" Naruto shouted.14

"Oh really?...then what do you call it?!"15

"An act of heroism." replied Naruto in a smart-ass tone.16

"Bull shi-" before Sora could finished Kakashi covered her mouth. Sora glared at Kakashi for butting in.17

"That's enough you two."18

"I'm serious, someone's following us!" repeated Naruto.19

“Yeah right! Quit lying and acting like a dumb kid!” said Sakura.20

Kakashi peered through the bushes where Naruto threw this kunai to find a white rabbit frozen with fear.21

“Auh! Naruto, look what you did!” Naruto looked over at the rabbit.22

"There's you mysterious follower Naruto, a bunny. Real scarry, I tell ya- My slippers when running for cover." said Sora sarcastically.23

“Ah! A rabbit!” he cried and ran over to it and picked it up. “Oh, I’m sorry little rabbit! I’m sorry!”24

“All this fuss over a rodent..?” asked Tazuna annoyed.25

'That’s a snow rabbit..but the color..they only have white fur during winter when the days are short and have little sunlight..' thought Kakashi 'this rabbit was raised indoors away from the light which would be for one purpose- a replacement technique…so their already here.'26

“Look out!” yelled Kakashi and everyone looked up to see a giant sword heading straight for them then all take a dive bomb to the ground and it whizzes past their heads and is stuck in a tree.27

A man with cow printed arm and leg warmers and grey/blue pants, his mouth was hidden behind bandages and he has a Hidden Mist head band on- jumps onto the sword. His name was Zabuza Momochi.28

'Here it is! My time to shine, believe it! I’m not gonna lose out to Sasuke!' thought Naruto.29

“Well, well if it isn’t Zabuza Momochi.. rogue ninja from the Village Hidden in the Mist..” said Kakashi.30

'Rogue ninja, whatever. Nothing’s going to stop me! Ready? Go!' Thought Naruto and began to charge forward when Kakashi stopped him. 31

“Your in the way.. Get back.” warned Kakashi.32

“But why?!” asked Naruto.33

“He’s not like those other ninja.. he’s in a whole other league.. If he‘s our opponent we‘ll need this.” said Kakashi and reach up for his headband that covered his left eye.34

'Zabuza Momochi.. the Demon of the Hidden Mist..' thought Sora clenching her teeth, she peered over at Kakashi.35

“This could be tetras..” the Genin all looked at him in wonder and amazement, except Sora,wondering what he was about to reveal.36

“Kakashi of the Sharingun eye.. Did I get that right?” asked Zabuza. “It’s too bad huh, but you’ll have to hand over the old man..” he said glanced at Sora then back at Kakashi. Kakashi and the others all looked over at her. Zabuza smirked under his bandages. Kakashi frowned.37

'Sharingun? Wh-what’s that?' wondered Naruto confused.38

'What’s he saying? Does he have some special power?' Though Sakura.39

“Now quick, monji formation! Protect the bridge builder and stay out of this fight.. I taught you teamwork, now’s the time to use it.” said Kakashi and revealed his Sharingun.40

“I’m ready!”41

'Ah, his eye! What is that?!' thought Naruto. Zabuza laughed.42

“Well it looks like I get to see the Sharingun eye in action.. this is an honor.” said Zabuza.43

“Everyone keeps saying “Sharingun, Sharingun!”, will someone please tell me what Sharingun is?” asked Naruto.44

“Sharingun.. a rare power it resides in the eyes.. the user of this visual jutsu or doujutsu can instantly see and comprehend any genjutsu, tyejutsu, and ninjutsu and reflect the attack back on the attacker.. the Sharingun is a special rare type of doujutsu, however there’s more to the Sharingun than that- a lot more.” explained Sasuke.45

“You got it right boy but you’ve only scratched the surface. The Sharingun can analyze an opponent’s technique and then copy it to the smallest detail.” said Zabuza and a thick mist appeared. “As for you Jonin.. in the assignation unit of the Hidden Mist we had a standing order to destroy you on sight..your profile is in our bingo book- it called you the “Man who copied over a thousand jutsu, Kakashi the copy ninja”46

'What? Is Kakashi sensei really such a famous ninja?' wondered Sakura.47

'He may be famous..but he's still a pain in the ass..' thought Sora.48

“Wow, that’s so cool!” said Naruto.49

“Enough talking..” said Zabuza “I need to exterminate the old man, now..” Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto, and Sora allgathered around Tazuna.50

“So.. I’ll have to eliminate you first eh, Kakashi? Then so be it.” he said then quickly leaped from the tree with his sword on to the water.51

“He’s over there!” shouted Naruto. “Standing on the water!” Zabuza made a hand sign charging his chakra.52

"Thanks for the announcment, captain obvious."muttered Sora.53

'He’s building up a huge amount of chakra' thought Kakashi as the mist thickened and Zabuza disappeared.54

“He vanished.” said Naruto.55

“Sensei?” asked Sakura.56

“He’ll come after me first..”57

“But who is he?” she asked, Kakashi glanced back at his trainees.58

“Zabuza Momochi, the ex leader of the Hidden Mist assignation squad. He’s a master of the silent killing technique.” explained Kakashi now looking straight ahead.59

“S-silent killing?" asked Narut.: Sora snorted amused.60

“As the name suggests- it happens in an instant without sound or warning of any kind.. it’s so fast you pass from this life without even realizing what is happening. The Sharingun cannot fully neutralize it, so don’t lower your guard.” warned Kakashi. “..Well if we fail we only lose our lives.."61

“The mist is getting thicker and thicker.” said Naruto trying to see in front of him.62

“The Land of Waves is surrounded by ocean- the swirling mist are ever present.” said Tazuna.63

“Sensei?!” called Sakura.64

“..Eight points..” said Zabuza’s voice from the mist. Sakura gasp.65

“What’s that?” she asked slightly shaking.66

“..Larex, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, sablablien artery, kidneys, heart.. now, which will be my kill point?” said tested Zabuza and smirked.67

Kakashi made a hand sign building up chakra then cleared the mist. Sasuke starts shaking and panicking.68

'What an intense thirst for blood.. one shallow breath, one tiny movement of the eye is enough to bring on instant death.. if it goes on like this I’ll go insane.. the clash of two Jonin intent to kill- I’ve never felt anything so chilling.. it’s as if my own lives being choked off..no' though Sasuke bringing his kunai up to him. 'I can’t bare it.. I’d rather take my own life..' Kakashi then suddenly cuts Sasuke from his thoughts.69

“Sasuke! Calm down.. I’ll protect you with my life- all of you. I will not allow my comrades to die.. trust me” he said and turned around, smiling under his mask. Sasuke then settled down and stopped panicking. The others calm down as well.70

“I wouldn’t be so sure..” said Zabuza and appeared behind the Genin ready to attack Tazuna “It‘s over..” he said then Kakashi comes and knocks them out of the way and stabs Zabuza to find it‘s a water clone. Another water clone appears behind Kakashi.71

“Sensei, behind you!” yells Naruto. Kakashi is stabbed, but the clone Zabuza finds it’s a water clone Kakashi. The real Kakashi comes out and put his kunai to Zabuza’s throat.72

“Don’t move..” he warns. “Now it’s over..” they all look at Kakashi in amazement. “Your finished.”73

“Alright!” cheered Naruto. It’s not over.. it’s a water clone! thought Sora. Zabuza laughed.74

“Finished?.. You really don’t get it, do you? Your technique is nothing but a crash imanatation- I’ll never be defeated by a mere copy cat ninja like you..” said Zabuza, Kakashi clenched his teeth. Zabuza laughed again.75

“You're full of surprises though..you already copied my water clone jutsu when you made your little speech. Very skillfully executed- you made your clone say those words to draw my attention while you hid in the mist waiting for me to make my move..nice try- but I’m not that easy to fool!” said the clone and the real Zabuza appeared behind Kakashi and the clone burst.76

“Hey, that one was a clone too!” yelled Naruto. Kakashi turned around to see Zabuza swing his swords at him, he ducked only to get kicked into the water. Zabuza runs after him dodging the mocupatie spikes Kakashi had se out.77

“Trying to slow me down, heh. Foolish..” he said and jumped into the water.78

“Kakashi sensei!” called Naruto. I can’t believe Kakashi sensei got kicked through the air like that! thought Sakura nervously.79

“He has great physical skill too..” noted Sasuke. Kakashi surfaced the water.80

This isn’t normal water..it’s dense- heavy he thought right as Zabuza captured him in his water prison jutsu. No!.. escaping into the water- bad mistake. Zabuza laughed,81

“This prison maybe made of water but it’s stronger than steel.. It‘s hard to fight when you can‘t move. So much for the great Kakashi. I‘ll finish you off later- but first your little friends will have to be eliminated.” he said then made a hand sigh with his free hand making another water clone.82

'Gr! He’s even more skilled than I thought!' thought Kakashi. Zabuza laughed. 83

“You think wearing a headband makes you a ninja? When you’ve hovered between life and death so many times it doesn’t phase you then you may be called a ninja..when you’ve become so deadly your profile’s entered in my bingo book then you may have earned the title ninja.. but to call upstarts like you ninja is a joke.” said Zabuza and his clone disappeared then appeared in front of Naruto and kicked him back -his head band flying forward. The clone Zabuza stepped on it. “Your just brats..” Sasuke, Sakura, and Sora gasp.84

“Naruto!” cried Sakura.85

“Listen! Get the bridge builder and run! You can’t win this fight! He’s using his all his power to keep me in this prison so he can only fight you with his water clone- but the clone can’t go far from his real body! If you get away from him he can’t follow- now run!” ordered Kakashi.86

'Run away? Not an option.. that became unthinkable the moment you got caught. No matter how fast we run or how far we go he’ll tract us down.. and wipe us out. If we try a monji defense formation he can get around it in an instant. In the end if were on our own were finished. Our only chance of survival is to rescue you..' thought Sasuke87

“We’ve got to do it!” said Sasuke and charged forward throwing shuriken. With one swipe of his sword the clone brushed them off like nothing. Sasuke jumped up to stab the clone with his kunai.88

“Too easy..” said the clone and reached up and grabbed Sasuke by his throat and threw him back.89

“Sasuke, no! “ cried Sakura. Sora steps forward and softens Sasuke’s impact by letting him crash into her leg. Sora squats down behind him and glares up at Zabuza and at his water clone.'I..'90

"That was a stupid move.." mutted Sora.91

“He got Sasuke!” said Naruto shaking with fear looking up at the clone So this is what a Jonin is.. a true elite ninja.. I’ve got to run away if not he’ll emulate me! thought Naruto. Naruto pressed back on his sore hand and remember his pledge he made.92

`~` “ Upon this wound I make this pledge, believe it..I will never back down again and let someone else rescue me. I will never run away and I will not lose to Sasuke..” promised Naruto.`~`93

Naruto looked at his head band under the clones feet remembering all the hard work he did to get it and how much he wanted to be a ninja and become Hokage. Naruto stood up. That’s right I’m a ninja now, believe it. I swore an oath of pain- I won’t run away! thought Naruto and charged at the clone.94

“Naruto, no!” yelled Kakashi.95

“Ah! Naruto what in the world are you doing?!” cried Sakura and Naruto only got kicked back. “What are you thinking charging at him by yourself?! Even Sasuke couldn’t get to him! We‘re only Genin we can‘t defeat a Jonin like that! What did you think you‘d accomplish by that?!” she yelled then noticed he had gotten his head band. His headband ?That’s what he wanted? she wondered. Naruto slowly got up96

“Hey you, the freak with no eyebrows.. put this in your bingo book- the ninja that will become Hokage of the Village Hidden in the leaves,” said Naruto taking a breath an putting his headband on “he never backs down! His names Naruto Uzumaki!” said Naruto, Sora gasp as another flashback back filled her mind.97

`~` Sora had just graduated a few days ago, she was with her new squad members Fang and Cole at the training area practicing climbing post using chakra. Sora ran forward focusing and before she even got half way up the post she fell. Her eyes slightly filled with tears at her failure.98

“Heh, give up kid- you‘ll never make it. You’re nothing but a crybaby. A waste of space.” said Fang and walked off towards Dain. Sora closed her eyes, her hands clenched tight trying not to cry.99

“Hey.. what is it?” asked Dain.100

“We need replacement not a crybaby kid that can’t do anything.” said Fang. “It’s hopeless, we were better without a replacement.” Dain sighed heavily.101

“I know..” he said. Sora shook her head and wiped her eyes and slowly got up.102

“Y-your w-wrong..” she said softly to herself then focused her chakra again. “Your wrong! I’m not a crybaby!” she yelled running at the post then started climbing to the top of the post and as she jumped from one to the other she threw her kunai at each target on the ground hitting them each perfectly. Landing on the last post she threw her kunai and it whizzed past Fang, Cole and Dain at the target hitting it straight on.103

“And I’m not a waste of space!” she yelled at them. They all looked up at her with awe, she was breathing heavily- she had not missed a single target and made it through the course in less than a half minute.104

“S-she did it..” said Fang surprised, Cole and Dain nodded in amazement.105

“ I quote; “A shinobi doesn’t give up nor do they give in when things are the seemingly impossible” “ she said with a determined look on her face. “ Everything that I’m not good at you say is the impossible! It’s not! The seemly impossible are only obstacles for shinobi to prove that they don’t give nor give in when things get tough! I am a shinobi not some crybaby or waste of space- so bring on the impossible I’ll show you what the true meaning of shinobi is!” she yelled from the post. Fang gasp, his eyes wide.`~`106

Sora closed her eyes at the memory and looked down at the ground. 'I-I ha..'107

Naruto charged at the clone again to get knocked back again.108

“Naruto!” she cried and looked ahead over her to see the clone running full speed at her and Sasuke.109

“Sora, run!” yelled Kakashi. 'I.. I’ve got to do something! B-but my last squad -I was helpless.. I couldn’t do anything and in the end I was blamed.. I can’t do anything, all I can do is sit and watch as it all happens again' thought Sora she quickly glanced at her teammates then at Kakashi remembering her last comrade’s fall before her. She clenched her 110

'No! I won’t let that happen again! My team needs me- I won’t give in, I’ll die first!' she quickly pulled out a kunai and blocked the water clones attack and leaps up and kicks it in the face and the clone is thrown back then bursts- water spurting everywhere.112

Kakashi and the others look at her surprise. Sora reached for her chakra sword breathing heavily. I will win!113

“You want a fight Zabuza, fine!” said Sora venomously. “I’m ready!” she said as her sword lit up with the strength of her chakra extracting off it wildly.114

“I knew there was something familiar about you.” said Zabuza, Sora smirked. “The Sky Demon.” he said and laughed. The others looked at her confused. “I thought you were out of commission after what happened in your last big battle- losing your teammates and all and having to watch as they got cut down right in front of you and of corse you take the blame over you heritage. I thought you gave up. Demon of the Sky..heh you know what goes up has to come down.”115

“Well you thought wrong!And you know else-what's on the ground only goes deeper down-in HELL! Sasuke, Naruto.. are you ready..?” she whispered to them. They both nodded. Naruto charged first then Sasuke- only to be thrown back again.116

Naruto used his shadow clone technique and while doing so he turned of into a shuriken and his clone threw him to Sasuke- in the mean while Sora had use a shadow clone and in place of her while the real Sora was trying to get closer to Zabuza. Sasuke threw both the shuriken, Zabuza catching the first one and the second he jumped over but then Naruto transformed back and threw a kunai at him.117

Zabuza was then was forced to release Kakashi in order to dodged the kunai. Angered Zabuza still had the first shrunken in his hand and was about to attack Naruto with it when Sora suddenly appeared beside him and stopped him wedging her sword with the shuriken protecting Naruto.118

“You!” yelled Zabuza and with his free hand grabbed his sword and swung it at Sora. She closed her eyes tightly waiting for the attack, but it never came. She looked up to find Zabuza’s swords being blocked- behind her was Kakashi blocking Zabuza’s attack with his kunai.119

“Naruto, Sasuke- that was an excellent plan.” said Kakashi then smiled down at Sora, she nodded and merely smiled back. He turned his attention back “You’ve really grown, haven’t you?” said Kakashi and partly laughed, Naruto smiled widely and laughed and explained the whole plan.120

“Don’t brag, you just lucked out.” said Sasuke and smirked.121

“The whole thing was just a fluke!” yelled Tazuna.122

Fluke or not, it help to save your ass.. thought Sora123

“Heh, I got distracted and lost my grip on the water prison.” said Zabuza. Sora frowned and tightened her grip on her sword.124

“Don’t flatter yourself..” said Kakashi annoyed. “You weren’t distracted -you were forced to let go.” Zabuza grunted.125

“Just because you got a big ego- doesn’t mean there’s something in it that actually works.” retorted Sora, Kakashi shook his head as Naruto snickered.126
