I Take it Back

I take it back, everything I said. Now that this has happened I feel like I have no soul. Those horrible things I said they're eating away at me, I yelled and screamed. Those awful words I said, I didn't mean it. Anger was flowing through my veins that night. You went home in tears and full of anguish. Five hours later, that call I received. I thought my heart would stop beating. Why I got the phone call that late, I don't know. It still eludes me to this day. Some careless man harmed you in ways i do not want to imagine. My precious child, I take it back. Everything I did and said was a mistake. Your life has been stolen from me. My sweet, sweet child, I take it back. You are in my heart always and forever.1
