Chapter 1: New Beginning.1

We pulled up the concrete drive way that leads to our new home, I didn’t want to be here I wanted to be back in Texas my home town but instead my farther got a new job so we had to pack up and leave, he didn’t care what tied us down back there he just wanted us out.
We got out by we I mean my mum the cooking genius, she was a chef for a five star motel back home, she is beautiful beyond real, long blonde hair, blue eyes tall and slim. My farther he is the one who mad us move, he is strict he was a model but change occupation a few years ago, he has dark chocolate brown hair, tall, broad shoulder and everyone of my friends had a crush on his. My brother he is my best friend he plays the guitar and sings, he’s such a free spirit, no one else knows but he is gay were still trying to figure out how to tell my parents especially my father. Then there is me the reject of our family, I am as beautiful as my mother but have my father’s hair and but red eyes, my life revolves around soccer and dancing. As soon as someone would see me they would think I was a cheerleader but I’m not, I’m really nice if you get to no me.
I looked up at the house with my headphones in my ears; I saw my father’s lips move yet all I heard was my blink182 roaring in my ears. The house was double story, white as a hospital. I walked through the archway and it was just as white inside, there were only three rooms down here and the kitchen. I’ve been here before so I didn’t bother looking at the house I went straight to my room, the furniture were already there but the rest of my stuff were in boxes on the floor. I picked up the box that said Clothes 1/3 great I thought to myself I have three boxes full of clothes another said Shoes ½. I put all clothes and shoes away before I started on my walls, I ended up filling one with just photos of my friends back home and the others had soccer stars on them while others were dancers, there were even a few of cars.
I looked out the window and saw Deablow my brother outside playing his guitar, smiling to myself I looked at the sky today would be good for a tan. I walked over to my walk in wardrobe and changed my into a strapless rainbow bikini, putting my denim short-shorts over the bottom. I grabbed a towel and walked out the front where Deablow was playing.
“Hey De, how you taking the new place?” I asked laying my towel out and sitting on it.
“It’s ok but I don’t like this street, every person I have seen are either jocks or nerds” he grimaced, I giggled and that made him smile more. I never use to smile that was just after my best friend died.
“So hows the song” I said putting my sunglasses on and closing my eyes, he started to play; the song was quiet and sweet.
“So do you like it?” he asked as he finished. I smiled and nodded followed by him chuckling.
“So, excited about tomorrow?” he asked after a few minutes of silence.
“I don’t wanna go its so different here” I mutted, I really didn’t want to go tomorrow. I don’t want people to judge me on my looks.
“It will be easier for you to make friends, you are popular wherever you go. People love you” he sighed. I leaned up on one elbow and frowned at him. I mean my brother isn’t exactly ugly his old blonde hair is now black, his blue eyes are surrounded by layer upon layer of black eyeliner, his wardrobe consist of skinny jeans, tight shirts, hoodies and converse and only in black, red, green and purple he is what some people call emo. While I’m not the total opposite but still we don’t match but we are like to peas in a pod.
“Come on lets play” I heard a unfamiliar voice call, I turned and saw around thirteen boys walking out of a house across the street. Taking a closer look they were all jocks and one stuck out from the rest it wasn’t because he was cute it was because he was huge, and I mean huge. They walked into the middle of the street and started choosing teams, I didn’t know what they were playing until I saw a soccer ball under one of their arms. They looked like a team but I couldn’t be sure.
They walked to their places the big one in left defence, while the others scattered around the street. The score was even when the ball went flying and landed a few feet away from Deablow and me. I looked down at the ball and smiled, I missed soccer I haven’t played since Jessie died.
“Oi, emo freak give us the ball” one yelled, I imminently took offence I hated it when people made fun of my brother. I wanted to punch them in the face but I couldn’t I just moved here I didn’t want enemies.
“Whom do you think your talking to?” I said standing up, their eyes widened then the big one smirked and walked over to me.
“Hello babe, what brings you here?” he said smirking down at me, I’m not short but I am shorter than this monster.
“I’m not here by choice and watch what you say about my brother because I can make your life hell,” I threatened; I wasn’t in the mood for this.
“What you going to do sweetheart scratch me?” he laughed, the boys behind him joined.
“Want to see what I can do come a little closer” I said balling my fist.
“ZANIER MARIE MONTOYA, GET YOUR ARSE IN HERE RIGHT NOW!” my farther yelled, when I didn’t move I heard the door bang open. I turned to see my fathers beautiful face full of anger.
“Inside right now” he said, I wanted to hit the big guy so bad but I turned and walked to my fathers shaking figure.
“I’m Josh by the way” the big guy called from behind me. I turned and replied.
“I’m Zanier, and if you ever go near my brother you wont be pretty no more,” I threatened walking into the house after my father.
“Zanier, what did I tell you about starting trouble?” he scowled, I didn’t reply. The rule in the house is never backchat dad.
“They were disrespectful to our family” I defended; they weren’t really but any calls my little brother names.
“Whatever, the reason we called you in is because Mrs. Norm from across the street has invited us over for a BBQ the sarvo the whole street is going so its your chance to meet people” he said smiling at me, I didn’t return it.
“Get Deablow and go and get ready,” he commanded, I walked outside and got Deablow before walking upstairs. I changed just into a purple top that stops just above my belly button and shows my tattoo that is on my back, it says:
There
Once was
A little
Girl who
Never knew
Love until
A boy
Broke her
HEART
In old gothic writing. I put on some thongs and walked downstairs, Deablow was sitting on the couch next to mum. As soon as I walked in my brother turned to me smiling.
“Zane guess where were going?” he said with fake enthusiasm. I knew what he was talking about but didn’t want to admit it.
“Let me guess Josh’s last name is Norm?” I asked sitting on the floor across from him.
“Oh so you have made friends” my mother said happily like always, I don’t think she has another emotion other than happy. My father walking into the room interrupted my thoughts.
“Ok lets go” he said, we all got up and followed him out of the house. Mum had her famous pasta salad in her hands, while my hands held my phone. We crossed the street and heard people out the back of the Norm household. Father knocked on the door and a tall skinny woman with long black hair greeted us.
“Welcome to the neighbour hood, my name is Kira Norm,” she said smiling, mum smiled back as well as dad. I looked over at Deablow and could hear his music, smiling I shook my head at him and he returned it with a smile.
