I love the image of an empty bus.
Transport is a good metaphor for escape (See the movie Ghost World, it does this well). When nobody is on the bus apart from a yawning driver, it leaves a powerful messaage about how trapped people are. Tied to families, jobs, relationships and old routines. There is a way out, but nobody is taking it.
