Fear me and my bible beating stupidity, I find myself unable to think for myself, and parrot back at you what other people tell me is the truth. These people that I parrot, unfortunately, were the very first people that ever got at me, and I will continue to parrot to others, what they parroted at me, and so whoever I parrot at, who is of simple mind, will believe the same thing and will begin to parrot at others, so our minds and spirits will continue to stagnate, in the same way it has done since the dark ages. Do you have a personal relationship with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? If you don't, it's actually very easy to begin one. If you choose not too, or belong to some cult, or worship on your own, or haven't been baptized, or even just attempt to think for yourself, you are going to Hell! Plain and simple, its unavoidable, it says so in the Bible! If you are some poor African who might be murdered and eaten for not believing in your pagan gods, well I'm sorry, you are going to Hell! God has no mercy on those who don't believe in him and never get the chance, because that is the verdict of his all encompassing love and omniescent wisdom!8
Oh, and lying five or six times is just as bad as killing your whole family and feeding them to your dog! So, if ever you feel like killing your family, feel free, its easily fixed! It says so in the bible!9
Everything I ever tell you will be something from the bible, even if the point I am trying to make with that particular section doesn't make sense compared to another part of the bible, and if you point that out and try to make the two work together, the way the word of God is supposed to do, I will simply change the subject, because I have no real way to think for myself, and my pastors and brainwashed parents never taught me how to deal with that particular issue, so I, having no capacity to think for myself, will simply call you a sinner who has no faith and think that I am right, and be smug in my self righteousness! Because that shows that I am loving and caring and full of the light and spirit of God that I so proclaim to be! I am right, you are wrong, no matter what you say, no matter what your faith, no matter how strong your faith, no matter how you found God, no matter how logical or sensible your defending of your faith, you are wrong and will go to Hell!!!10

I was actually raised LDS, and believe Jesus is my only way to heaven... I also believe that he gets a kick out of reading/seeing things like this, seeing people who actually have found him of their own accord getting fed up with the repetitive crap that people continue to spout.59

I know that putting, I am Jesus, TheChristFag, is a little blasphemous, but it is more aimed at those who claim simply to know what God is and apparently think their own opinion should be doctrine, those who are caught up in their own self righteousness.61

As messed up as this crap is.... I have to say I agree with your points. I get very annoyed at people who are religiously intolerant even when you believe in the same religion as them but interpret it differently. I mean the whole point about literature in general is to be interpreted in different ways and applied differently to the reader's life. Everyone has different backgrounds so its very unlikely everything will be understood the same, and yet... people just aren't willing to be civil about the matter of religion.
The worst part is that even with atheism and stuff like that I still get preached too and atheist people are even more aggressive and intolerant than Christians a lot of the time(I'd rather someone say I'm going to hell then to say that all my logic in inherently flawed because I am Christian personally). Its just all one big group war and if you have the courage to actually think independently everyone attacks you. Its really sad and frustrating and I think you conveyed a lot of it in this piece.

I gave up on organized religion a long time ago for many of the reasons you've mentioned in your piece. I do think, however, that you could have chosen a better way of expressing yourself. I see this as somewhat rude, inflammatory and not likely to bring many over to your way of thinking. It will probably put those it's aimed at on the defensive and cause them to dig in their heels and become even more unlikely to listen to what you're saying. -

This was a piece written at a specific person, and not intended to actually get him to see anything, as he is far too pigheaded to do so... He and I have been going at it for nearly two years, I with logic and reason and a sound understanding of what I'm talking about, him with insults and not so much subtleties of how long eternity is and how much pain I will be in all that time, and how much a fool I am... The part that actually talks about having a relationship with christ is pulled from his post, where we went back and forth... after writing it, he simply shut up and i found myself greatly amused... the point is to get people who are intelligent enough to see the points to laugh and agree, and for the people who are like this to simply prove their own ignorance by throwing up the defensive to something meant to be purely comedic...
thank you for the advice tho, i do appreciate that, but this is pretty much supposed to piss people off.

Well being not Christain, but being raised one, I almost stopped reading. But not because I didn't agree, but thought it might suit someone who didn't havea n open mind and who needed a kick in their collective butts
But I found it very entertaining and I do hope someone can learn from you posting here.

Haha. I wonder if any 'Mainstream Christians' will comment on this.
To start, I am a Christian, but tend to shy away from being 'mainstream', mainly because I have a brain and I like to use it. God gave it to us, no point wasting it.
So while I believe most of the points raised there (that Christianity is right, and everyone else is wrong), I wouldn't put it like that. No way to win someone over bashing them on the head and abusing them. And in the end, if it ain't in the Bible, I won't declare it as infallible, just my opinion. Which, like everyones, it just that. And opinion. You can agree or disagree. So if I can't logically defend my belief, it's time to change. Because I'm a very logical person, and I believe the Bible is too. So far as I can make out, no logical inconsistencies found in it yet.
Dunno about him getting a kick out of stuff like this, but hey. I don't know, and I'm not here to pass judgement on that.
So, interesting write.
