A book for Cheshire Cat

1) Lord of th Flies by William Golding1

2) I don't know you, so I can't tell you why you, personally, should read this book, but I can tell you thathis is probably the best book I have ever read. It has a wonderful story plot, fantastic characters and a lot in depth symbolism that can be translated many different ways. It is not long, my copy is 235 pages long, and it's classic so you could probably find it in large print at a library. The description is beautiful, but not too wordy, and the theme is really strong. I have to admit, this book had a uge impact on me and my writing.2

3) This book is about a plane full of boys leaving Europe due to the air raids during WW2 and their plane crashes on an abandond island. They start off living a very happy life in this seemingly perfect enviorment, but when a rumor spreads of a beast on the island then human nature runs it's course and the peace of the island is desroyed. I can't tell you much, because I don't want to spoil anything, but I can tell you that the story gets really suspensful, and it's definenty an adventure. 3

4) Warnings: It is a little graphic at times, especially this one part, if you catch onto to what is going on, but there isn't anything bad or anythng that would even make you blush when reading this book. It is a little heavy and, being 13, you probably won't get all the symbolism, even if you are looking for it. But, that's perfectly okay. It has a wonderful story plot anyway, I wasn't even looking for symbolism the first time I read it and I loved it SO much. 4

I seriously recomend this book. If you decide to read it, and you want someone to talk about it to, or someone to explain what some of it means, or someone to help point out the symbolism that is there, please message me. This is one of my favorite books of all time and I'd talk to you about it in a heart beat. 5

Author notes

Well, here you go. I'd love for you to read this. It's fantastic. Ha ha, I had trouble with the rule "Don't rant". I could rant about this book for hours, given the oppurtuniy.

Anyway, enjoy.

A clever book, but ever so slightly depressing.
It's a story about the natural evil that is inherent in every child. It can make you despair at humanity, but it is definately worth reading.

    • Yes, it can be depressing. It is a very heavy book. But I absolutly love it. But, human nature really is, in a lot of ways. Thetrick is to be like Piggy or Ralph or Simon, reather than resorting to the rest.
