"I'm going hunting," Chase Wilkins announced to his mate. Vicky just shrugged, her eyes on her dirty nails. 4

Chase grabbed his black leather coat and walked out into the sunshine. He laughed as he thought of the little girl he had killed taking his morning stroll yesterday.5

"I-isn't the sun supposed to burn you up?" she hoped, right before she was about to die.6

He had laughed, and then he had sunk his teeth into the little girl's flesh. "Nope," he had told her after she was already dead. Her lifeless body was spread out across the, now, bloody pavement. He strolled away casually, as if nothing had happened.7

Surfacing back to reality, he smelled something, good. Very good. He wanted it. And he wanted it now. He broke out into a sprint, trying to find where that almost sickly sweet smell came from. 8

Suddenly, he ran smack into it. A curvy blonde was talking with her friends around the corner when he smacked into her.9

"Sorry," he muttered. 10

"It's okay honey," she said in a country drawl.11

He nodded and walked quickly away, trying to stop himself from giving into his instincts. He almost sprinted to the nearest corner, wanting to get away from the delicious smelling woman.12

He tried not to smell her intoxicating smell. He thought of the blood that rushed to her face when he smacked into her and the increased speed of her heart when he apologized. Then, he remembered the other things about her. 13

The luscious curves in her body, her wavy blonde hair that fell around her shoulders, and her blonde eyes that-14

Chase shook his head in anger, realizing he had been breathing in her scent. He stopped breathing, and slowly crept around the corner. He saw she was only with two friends now, and they were walking home. 15

He decided to follow them. After a couple minutes of walking up-hill, the one of the girl's friends stopped at an apartment.16

"Bye," he heard the girl say. 17

The girl waved back and called, "Bye Natalie!"18

'So Natalie is her name,' Chase thought. 'Pretty na-' He stopped himself and shook his head again. He followed them past the apartments and into a housing district. There, Natalie's other friend waved good-bye and entered a large house.19

She was alone, finally. He followed her out of the housing district and on to an empty street. The predator stealthily stalked his unaware prey. He was almost on top of her, and he knew it. Her long blonde hair whipped around in the wind as she made her way home. His mouth watered at the thought of such delicious flesh. Best thing was, it was all his. 20

Then, Natalie's phone rang. She stopped and leaned against the wall answering it. "Fine," she yelled out suddenly. Then, she hung up. She sighed and a single tear slipped down her cheek.21

Chase sighed; he never liked devouring unhappy prey. To his surprise, Natalie unzipped her purse and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. Next, she pulled out a black lighter, and lit up. She took a couple drags and sunk down on the hard alley floor. 'Naughty girl,' Chase thought.22

He decided to make his move. He strolled over to the miserable and knelt down next to her. "Are you okay?" he asked in a soft voice. 23

She looked up in surprise, a little shocked. "What?" she asked.24

He could not get over her country accent; he thought it was really hot. "Are you okay?" he repeated.
"Oh," she said quickly. "Yeah, I'm good."
"What happened?" he asked.
"Um," she said. She was reluctant to talk to a complete stranger.
"My boyfriend broke up with me."
"Oh," he said, not sure what to do. "Sorry."
"It's not your fault," she laughed.
"I know," he said. "But I bet it still stinks."
She stood up and smoothed her blouse. "Sort of," she agreed. "He was a dirt-bag anyway..."
"Ah," Chase acknowledged. "Aren't there so many of those jerks out there? It is sad really. Men used to be the protectors, now they're the heart-breakers." He sighed, and then breathed in, getting a whiff of her wonderful scent. He closed his eyes in complete bliss, but promised himself he wouldn't breathe again.
Natalie laughed; he liked the sound of her laugh. "Yeah."
"Do you need a ride home or something?" he asked.
"Um..." She wasn't sure what to do. "Hey wait," she remembered. "Didn't you bump into me earlier today?"
"Yeah, that was me. Sorry," apologized Chase. He shrugged. "Too busy caught up in my own relationship."
"Oh, it’s okay! No big deal! I'll take you up on that offer for a ride," she said.
They walked to his car, which was luckily parked only a block away. When they were in the car, he turned to her. "Mind if we take a detour?" he asked.
"Go right on ahead," she said shrugging. She buckled up and cranked up the radio. Heavy metal boomed through the speaker. Her eyebrows raised and she turned it down.
"Sorry," he laughed. "My favorite genre of music is not heavy metal; it was my ex-girlfriend's."
"Oh," she said. He backed out of the parking lot and started driving to the park. "What happened there?"
"Oh," he said shrugging. "I don't know... We just kind of faded. We saw each other less and less and then we just started to drift apart."
"Ah, I know that feeling," she sighed. "Where are we going?"
"To the park, I have to do a little business," he said. He parked and got out of the car, waving Natalie to come with her.
He led her deep into the woods and told her to stay there for a moment. He loved playing with his prey first. He had left her there for about 15 minutes when she became worried. She started calling out 'hello?', but got no answer.
Suddenly, she started running. He ran after her, trying to make as much noise as he could, just to scare her. Then, when she was completley lost, she sat down in the ground, sobbing.
That's when he stepped out in the open. He was smiled menacingly, his teeth glinting in the sunlight. She screamed. "W-what is going on?" she asked her.
"Well," he said. "This is the way it’s going to work. You're going to beg and plead that I won't kill you, but I'm going to kill you anyway. You see, I'm a vampire, and I prey off of weaker animals like you."
She cried out, scared. Abruptly, she closed her mouth and was completley quiet. "What?" he teased. "Going to go silent?" He laughed loudly. Then, he got on knee level and looked into her scared gray eyes.
Suddenly, he sank his teeth into her tender flesh. She couldn't stop herself, she screamed out in pain. Moments later, her lifeless body lay on the cold ground. He wiped his hand across his mouth and found his way back to his truck.

When he got home, Vicky was still cleaning her nails. "How was your day?" she asked, distracted.
"Nothing big, just found a little catch," he said casually. He walked to his room and thought of the gorgeous girl he had just killed. "Oh well," he muttered.

I like it, but I cant say I love it. You should add more details, explain his feeling, or her feelings. I don't know, there was just something missing for me
