The un-Truth

Vexed. You say;
For it is true,
I simply live to construe.1

Perhaps,
I have taken you for a ride?
To my dismay; I wonder why?
If I have done this such thing-
then what motive have I to set you free?2

So if what I say is truth;
then do I still live to construe?
Lets just ponder for a moment;
the meaning of truth.
Truth is what you believe with proof,
so if You believe and I have the proof;
then tell me then is it the truth?3

Confused?
Well so am I.
For with me the truth is a lie;
so convoluted is my truth,
but I haven't lied.4

For it is quite true,
I do simply live to construe.

    This was a very good poem. I liked it. But i have a suggestion also. Stanza three, last line would have been better if written as:
    then tell me that is this the truth.
    Anyways, all in all, a nice read. i enjoyed your poem very much. .

    confused....but I think you are confused also! and if you are not, you should be too! This poem needs structural rearrangement....organize! organize! Other than structural flaw, the poem is okay. you have a very nice flow of ideas and if you manipulate words efficiently, you may be writing very impressive poetry soon!
