Letter to Brunhilda(from stream of unconciousness)

Dear Brunhilda,1

You might not remember me but I remember you. We shared something once a very long time ago but you abandoned me to bigger and better things. You were the deepest part of my dark lusty past and you hurt me so much when you left me for that weird scientist. And then.... you hired me to write your damn story chronicling your death. How the hell did you even hire me if you were dead? It doesn't even make sense and it just shows that you care so little about what I think and feel. Brunhilda, I loved you and you just trampled over my heart just like that cave ape trampled over you. I'm sorry to say this but I hope the story I wrote was accurate(you never really gave me any details but I can forgive that given you are dead). To think I fell in love with a girl as stupid as you but well that probably is cause you were kinda hot. I doubt you are that hot anymore though given your untimely demise but maybe I'll dig up your grave and check to make sure. Anyway, I'll make sure to defile your corpse when I dig it up and if by some chance you still are alive somewhere...2

TO THE PAIN!3

    Wow

That would be a very awkward, angering situation to be in. Very intersting name, though. Brunhilda. Nice ring to it, don't you think? Anyway, I thought it was a good idea if you needed to get something off your chest. Writing can help you express your emotions in ways impossible by speech or actions.

Also, it's anonynous! I thought it was very creative and I wouldn't be sure what to do if I were in his position. Trampled by an ape, huh? That would be a sight to watch...or experience. You are a very good writer, and I liked this!

If this was inspired by something that happend to you, I'm deeply sorry. That would be horrible to have something like that happen. I'm glad I had the opportunity to read this, and I'm glad you wrote it!

    Great again

    INK

    Yikes

What an odd situation to be in! Anyways, as far as the story itself, I think it was pretty freaking' awesome. It is an odd mixture of humorous and dark storytelling.

The main character seems to be a man who is somehow managing to balance himself between reality and insanity. It seems that he is not even sure what is what anymore in his life.

Overall, I give your story a 1 out of 10. No, just kidding-I give it a 9.7865464 out of 10. Please don't ask me how I got to that number (it involved many lengthy and complicated calculations on my computer from 1985).

    Confusing At Best

I'll have to go with humor even though it contradicts your AN

"You might not remember me(,) but I remember you."

"Anyway(,) I'll make sure to defile..."

Are you serious? You could have at least put in a couple paragraphs. I don't know but the way you write makes me think that you're making fun of writers in general. That's just my opinion though, maybe I'm not reading it in the right way.

No I'm not, I just write for fun and this was for a contest, I also believe I wrote it while at work when I should've been working.

I found it really funny. Complaining at her stupidity, but then remembering 'You were kinda hot.' That says it all really. I liked the read, greatly amused.

You don't need to be sorry :)

For some reason "I can forgive that given you are dead" resonates the most with me, may I use that line in my own works? I LOVE the wordplay of that Nice decaying romance for a corpse, I think it could've been dug a little deeper-- even if it was by the seams of your mind's tongue, it felt like it was too surfacy, hehe. One thing I could suggest though, is to again, go more further, & dig deeper inside yourself for the pain of a love that was lost. Like Kerouac said in his Spontaneous Prose "rules"-- "Accept loss forever." Good job

It's okay, dude. Cry as much as you need to. Nobody will judge you, not here on the internet. And listen, it's not defiling if it's for love, just like it isn't rape if it's consensual. Her heart will go on, bro, just like in the song.

Thanks dude, I really needed a shoulder to cry on. I just can't believe our time together was so short. I only knew her for a day man... oh wait... we never actually dated. Wtf was I thinking?
