I Cannot Say Goodbye..

Tonight is naught but a frozen memory caught within a hardened heart..1

I am standing upon the brink of my own desire, watching as the waves lash out at the crumbling corners of my plateau. I have not used my time as well as I could have. I have not loved as sincerely as one would have hoped.2

It was once worthwhile, this wait for my love. But now, as I lose my foothold, I beg for the sea to reclaim my soul. I am a spirit of the deep, wishing for eternal rest.3

She is gone, this I know..

Wonderful story. It has given me something to think about. There's something so refreshing about standing at the coastline, watching the waves crash.

100 words that say so much more than what it was meant to say. I enjoyed reading this, and I wish that you would of written more. I believe this could develop into something more. GREAT JOB!

This is truly a magnificant, heartfelt piece you have here. I have always loved the sea. I often wonder though, why it is that so many people decide upon seeing the darkness instead of the light. It's a very interesting question, ne? I can see that this piece definitely hold a mystifying secret, however. Thank you for entering and best of luck to you.
