Evil Book

1

What was I thinking? I knew better and yet I did it anyway. I just thought that no one would recognize it -–the words certainly aren’t that familiar. At least they weren’t to me. And it was so beautiful, tucked away on page 354 of that yellowed, dusty anthology that mom kept on the bottom shelf of the bookcase. All those years that I never even knew it was there. Evil book! Now look at the trouble I’m in. Banned for a week, and I can’t even get in to delete the others I posted from that book. Durn moderators!

And you are a moderator This was indeed very clever, can't say it was funny for the person in question though
I tend to agree with Cyberartist, as a teacher I see that punishment isn't always the best solution (here I refer to children). There is always a way out to make them realize their mistakes.
Thanks again for bringing humor into this contest!

Goodness Paul you’re plagiarizing and your commentators are spamming
    what is AP coming to
I see the point some of our younger members could feel the need to produce poetry that is not there own in order to compete I’m not sure banning them is the answer. It would be nice if they were assigned an older experienced writer to help and encourage them to use the there own thoughts, and in the process add work that was there own. Even having a mod check there poetry prior to posting. By all means ban repeat offenders.
