I ran through the underground maze of stone walls, gripping the torch tightly, my only source of light in the dark cavern. Suddenly, a screeching sound echoed through the tunnels. I froze. A living corpse appeared and I shouted in surprise. Grinning, I handled my videogame controller and killed it.3

I'm not sure what the SW counter is writing, as it sometimes gets things wrong but rest assured, it's 50 words. Count it yourself. 
Interesting contest, it started out over 100 words, and I had to cut in quite a few sentences for it to fit. Also, I have no idea this video game is called... I don't play. Hehe.

Don't worry, I'm not going by the SW counter. I'm counting the words myself, then using the microsoft word counter just to ensure that each one is exactly 50 words! So don't worry, I know it's 50!
