A man rode on a black horse, with blood red eyes. He wore a forest green cloak, and the rest he wore was black and gray, so he can easily slip silently into the night. For he was an assassin, and not just a hired hand, he was the most fearsome assassin in the land. Behind him was a girl riding almost fast as he, she wore an elegant dress, with pearls and diamonds but, was dirty and torn from the hard ride. They weren't just riding for fun, but they ran from danger. Not far behind the Princess and the Killer, were Thugs riding demons, twice the size of horses. They rode through forests and grass lands, through mountains and river banks. Not once did the Killer look back, but the Princess stole glance after glance measuring the distance between the Demons and the Thugs behind her. After another hour of hard riding, the horses slowed, but the demons would not tire for at least another day. 2
"I must end this quick, for the princesses horse grows tired faster than mine" The Killer said to himself. He slowed, just close enough to the Princess for her to jump across to the Killers' horse.3
"Jump!" The Killer yelled through the mist and the haze.4
"No! I'll fall!" Cried the Princess.5
"Please, just do it! If you don't you sill surely die" The Killer warned.6
"But...'7
"Please!" Pleaded the Killer. And with that cry, the princess saw something that she never would have dreamed of seeing, there was fear in his dark eyes, there were tears running down his face. She looked back, but only to find the Demons running closer and harder than before, she didn't need to be told twice. She look at the Killer with a worried look on her face, she unstrapped her legs, said goodbye to her dear horse, and jumped across to the Killers' stead. She strapped her self in and wrapped her arms around the Killers waist, it was suprisingly warm for a cold blooded killer. 8
"There, now that wasn't so hard, now was it?" He asked, with a smile.9
"Just ride!" She yelled. The princess looked ack yet another time, and saw her beloved horse steering off to the left off the trail, only to be chased by two demons and there masters. She cried softly, and her sobs were only heard by the wind. 10
"They are to close, we need to fight" The Killer said suddenly. 11
"What? No! We can't!" The princess said.12
"You won't, I will," With that he dropped the reins and reached to the side of the horse and unsheathed a giant Elven long bow, black with red Elven writtings on the side, even the string was pitch black. He pulled an arrow out of the quiver, "Duck" he said. And she did, he turned his body around, still stearing the stead with his legs, took aim and fired. The first arrow struck the demon in front in the heart, it fell with a bone chilling scream. There were only a few left. He pulled another arrow out of it's quiver, strung the missle, aimed and fired. This arrow went straight for the closest thugs throat, and it ripped right through it, and keeped going until it lodged itself in the shoulder of the Thug behind the first. They both fell and disappered into the night. Since he shot the arrows, the other two demons were right beside the Killer and the Princess. One the Thugs pulled a javelin out of a holster, and flung it wiledy at the Killer, only to miss and hit the other thug square in the chest. He died before he knew what hit him. The Killer put the bow back in the holster, stood up on the saddle of the horse, "Hold the reins" He told the Princess. She took the reins with out a word. He balanced himself out, and flung his body at the thug, but the thug was ready. When the Killer landed on the back of the Demon, the Thug thrust a long knife into the belly of the Killer, he cried out in pain, so did the Princess in shock. But that would not finish the Killer, a red long knife apeared in his hand, it was as if magic conjured up the blade. With a quick agile slash the thug fell to the ground only to be trampeled by his own Demon. With that the Killer pulled out his long sword, and stabbed the demon in the head, killing it instanly. The demon lurched suddenly and stopped, flinging the Killer off onto the ground.13
"No!" The princess yelled. She galloped to the Killer, got off the horse and ran to him. "Oh no..."14

In the peacful village of Krypt, the elder and the leader of the Fire tribe, lurched suddenly forward from his meditation. A helper ran to him, "Elder what is wrong?" he asked.16
"He's hurt....the time has come...We must save him, we must save my son!" The Elder yelled.17

He weakly got up onto his knees.19
"We must get you to the healers of Parse!" The Princess cried.20
"Yes, that is a wonderful idea" The Killer said silently. He got up, ripped a piece of cloth off of his tunic, and wrapped it around his mid section. He then got onto the horse, and so did the Princess. They rode on though the night, until the reached the town of Parse. It was earliy quiet, until a womans scream was heard in the silence. "What was that?" The Princess whispered.21
"I don't know, leys go check it out" The Killer said.22
"Ok..." 23
They rode a little farther and rounded a corner, a black mishaapen creature was crouced over a blooded woman, it looked up glared at the Killer with a cold stare, screached a horrile sound and bounded off. The Killer didn't think twice and rode after it. He rode until he found it running into the Healers Hall. He got off the horse, unstrapped his bow and said, "Listen wait here, I need to check this out"24
"But..." She started.25
"No, wait here, If you get attacked, just ride and don't stop until you get to safety" He said, "I'll be right back" He smiled, and he walked away.26
As he walked into the building, he re-strung his bow, and attached an arrow. He became the Hunter now, subsiding into himself, all of his senses were sharper now, his strength greater, his mind sharper. He walked into the building, and a creature jumped at him from the shadows, but The Hunter was quicker, and he shot the demon through the throat. Another came from behind and he shot it down. One after another, creatures came from stairways, and rooms, but none made it to him. Until a smaller demon came sliding from behind, and lashed out with it's claws creating a gash in the Hunters leg. And he cried out in pain, dopped the bow and killed the demon with a slash of his knife. When he did that, another demon came out of the shadows and cut the Hunter on the back, leaving a bleeding red gash. And again the demon fell. When he turned around a ring of demons encirceled him. He looked around, smirked and ran head first into the demons ahead of him, slashing with form and elagance that none can compare to. But that was a mistake that The Hunter made, for he was inflicted with another dozen wounds, and thats when the Hunter became the Killer again. For all the demons were dead. In that very moment, the Killer collapsed . And that is when the Princess got off the horse and strode silently into the building.27

The Leader of the Fire tribe lurched again, and this time passed out. The helpers ran to his aid, but the Elder was far beyond help.29

His body laid on the blood stained cold floor. His clothes were ripped and torn, blood stained his face and hands. A beautiful girl kneeled next ti him, her frail arns wraped around him, his head pressed against her chest. She was crying, letting the tears fall on his dark face.31
"What have they done?" She whispered.32
She can still remember the words that he spoke to her before he died;33
"I have always loved you, and I always will. Since the first time I laid my eyes on you I knew that I was in love with you. Please don't forget me, remember: I love you"34
She answered back silently,"Please don't leave me, I love you too..." 35
But there was nothing she could do, but watch her falling tears wet his pale face. She let out one more soft cry, and closed his eyes forever.36
