Summary:    Harry seeks a way to hide himself from the world.  Lord Tom Riddle is searching for his soul mate.7

Author's Notes:  That's really not much of a summary but the summary I wrote really doesn't fit the story now that I've... written some of it.  ^_^  Please enjoy! ^_^8

Prologue9

Harry James Potter lay, with his emerald eyes closed and his hair pulled back in a pony tail, on the couch holding a glass of wine.  "Hey, Ron, do you know the difference... between straight guys and ... gay guys?"11

Ron looked up from his book, his auburn hair falling into his sky blue eyes, and watched his best friend get wasted.  "I forget."12

Harry laughed cynically, "There isn't any!  Straight guys are jerks.  Gay guys are jerks."13

Ron shook his head, blew strands of auburn hair out of his eyes, and murmured, "If you say so, Harry."14

A couple of hours, and quite a few drinks, later, Harry said, "Ron."15

Ron, once more, looked up from his book.  "Yes, Harry?"16

"You know what I think?"  Harry murmured, then went on without waiting for a reply.  "I think we're all caught in our own personal traps.  I was born in mine."17

Ron smiled sadly at Harry.  "Come on, buddy, it's time for bed."  He helped Harry off the couch and pulled him towards his bedroom.18

Harry looked up at Ron and giggled, "You know, Ron, the penis astonishes me."19

Ron looked down at Harry shocked, but he murmured, "Why is that?"  He stood Harry up and pulled off the smaller boys black tee-shirt.20

"It can give pain, and pleasure, it can give life!  And it can give death!"  Harry said, swaying on his feet.21

"Pesky little devils, aren't they?"  Ron laughed.  "Now go to sleep, Harry.  You're going to have a nasty hangover when you wake up."22

"Mmmhmmm... Night, Bryan, I love you."  Harry whispered, curling into a pillow and falling asleep instantly.23

Ron stroked Harry's raven hair back from his face, murmuring, "I don't see why he left you.  You're so beautiful, Harry."  Ron turned, and walked slowly out of the room.  "Goodnight, Harry, sweet dreams."  He switched off the light, and slowly shut the door, whispering, "It'll get better.  I promise.  It has to get better!"24
