The cat sat on the floor and looked around her. She was taken aback by the big dog sitting by the fireplace. Taken aback she leaped up and ran out of the room. The dog did not flinch. Slowly the cat put it’s head around the door and looked at the dog. The dog stared back and still did not move. The cat slowly entered the room purring, it sat down on a big red cushion opposite the dog. The looked at each other, both expressionless. The fire flickered and glowed, yet neither of them moved. It was silent love.1

I love cats, so don't worry about that. I thought this was really cute, but I think the drabble could use an actual title. I'm glad you decided to give it a go because I definitely enjoyed reading your entry. Thank you for entering and good luck.
