There was something inside him that always made him want to scream. Whether it was the pain caused with every second waiting, or his intuition, luminous like a globing moon, he did not know. There was an uncontrollable factor that he couldn't put his finger on. Something that was lurking in the shadows between paranoia, and the hideous truth. It had consumed him. Willing like a parasite churning beneath his ivory flesh. A worm digging in the soul of his mind. The right atmosphere would promote the right moment, for the perfect crime of passion.
Author notes
This is a mixture of a fragment I took from a hideous story I wrote last night, some emotions and an inwards look at my character Dylan Adams. Not sure if it is him, but this hooked me when I read it, and wrote it so I thought hay...worth a try.

This is a great hook- it certainly grabs a reader's attention and already full of dark and visual description within only a short paragraph. I loved this! Thanks for entering!
