Irony

For a few months now, I have suspected that my husband  has been having an affair.  Too afraid to confront him, I've been going more and more out clubbing with my friends.  For the past two months, at the club, there is always this man that dances with me.  We never say anything to each other, and he always dances with me to slow songs.  I've been attracted to him from the first, and by the way he looks at me, I could tell that he wanted me too.  And then one night, I decided to go home with him. We were dancing to Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River," and over the loud booming music, I looked in him the eyes and told him,"I want to go home with you tonight."  Surprised he finally spoke to me and said,"I've been dreaming of this night for two months." And with that my pulse speed up. And then we couldn't stop talking.  He told me about his job, and his name happened to be Michael, I told him about my job, and that I worked at a retail store, as a manager.  He looked surprised. "My wi-friend works for the same store." We left and he drove me to his home.  It was pitch black and I could barely see the stairs we were going up.  In the silhouette of the moon, I could barely see the bed, red sheets gleaming in the moonlight.  It looked faintly sinister, and I got this bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, my husband like red sheets also.  I found that ironic.  "Stacey, I need you."  I turned to him, apparently I had been spacing out.  We began to undress each other, and soon he had my on the red sheets, and was making love to me.  And it was unbelievable, I had never been made love to in this manner.  So gentle, so filling, so wonderful.  And when we were done, I got dressed, getting ready to leave.  We had left the club pretty quick and it was still only just 1am.  I usually stayed out until 3.  He flipped the switch on in his room suddenly looking out the window.  A car had pulled up and someone was giggling coming up the stairs.  I looked at him surprised, he told me he wasn't married. He looked at me then with regret and told me," I should have mentioned that I'm really married. " And before he could even tell me to hide the door was opened, and before they saw us I heard her say, "I got you the red sheets that you like so much, they are all for you baby." And then I saw my co-worker Lisa, with my husband.1

Author notes

This story was inspired by a song by R Kelly called "In the Closet." which is almost 17 mins long, hear it and you'll understand.  I might make this into a serious, I hope it came out okay, I was hoping for an ending that wasn't so obvious, perhaps it was, happy reading lol.
