As For you My Friend....

Eku stood out at the old tavern, as she gazed she noticed her best friend Claic go into one of the taverns rented rooms.1

Eku silently and slowly followed him. Claic had been a little strange lately. Ignoring was not one thing Eku tolerated well, and being a little hurt...her curiosity got the best of her.2

"Room 14? What could possibly be in there?" Eku silently whispered to herself. she decided to go through the taverns back door and watch through a window possibly get into the room to see what the heck he was doing.3

Through the room Eku could only see his jacket laying across the chair sitting by his bed. there on the night stand laid a silver dagger with some sort of incrested symbol on it.4

"How odd...I have never seen Claic with this before." Eku's eyes gazed a little longer.5

When Claic  made it into Eku's sight, Eku was shocked to see that he was pale and probably not feeling well.6

"Maybe this is why he is not so talkitive." Eku thought.7

Claic made his way out of the bedroom Eku thought probably for a short period of time so she would act now. Eku slyly creviced through the window. When she made it into the room she hid in the closed...she had a perfect view of the room. She wasnt going to miss anything.8

Claic stepped into the room...and for a long time just sat cleaning his weapons and having a few drinks here and there. 9

When someone came into the room it was only to see if he needed any more vodka for if he would like something to eat...he would take the drinks but nothing else.10

Eku's curiosity was growing inside her...she needed to know his purpose of being here...and especially without her..If he was getting ready to kill someone...she wondered why he hadnt told her about it, seeing as how they are battle partners.11

She couldnt stand anylonger...she was getting ready to burst through the closet door when Claic said something. "I have known you were here, from the moment I walked into the tavern".12

It startled Eku a little "what the hell is he talking about?" 13

Claic got up and walked to the closet door, there he opened it.14

"I knew you were here sweet Eku, seeing you through the window, hearing you whisper..." he looked into her eyes.15

To Eku he seemed to different than what he had...Sexy...not himself.16

"How the hell you could you have heard me from across the room...especially when I whispered to my self?" Eku said aloud.17

"You'll be surprised how well my hearing is." Claic gave a slight chuckle. 18

"Just what the hell are you doing here?" Eku damanded.19

"I was trying to get away, but I knew you would probably follow me," he said looking down.20

"Oh really, of course did you think that I wouldnt care if you had left...did you not think that I wouldnt wonder what the hell happend to you?" Eku asked.21

"I knew..but I was prepared for what ever took place..." Claic said "in a way I am glad You came...it shows me that you care."22

"You're damned right I care...." Eku trailed off...a little blush came from her. Eku seen Claic smile, "What is so different" she thought then she seen his teeth.23

"Claic what's wrong...what happened..." Eku said walking backwards toward the door.24

"Just know sweet Eku, I care for you just has much as you care for me...Our friendship has grown closer dont you think?" Claic said still smiling and walking closer to Eku.25

"I know..." Eku said she was having troubles finding words to talk to him...26

The next reaction sent Eku through a world of panic...27

Claic cornered Eku into the door...before biting her he smiled and said "This is all for our good".28

Eku struggled a little before something began to change..she let her hands fall as he drank her crimson, copper tasting blood.29

She felt her heart slow, and her head spin....before she felt her death come closer she gazed over to the night stand, the dagger  she had seen moments earlier what now re-writing itself, the symbols changing faster and faster before it stopped. 30
