The First Chronicle of the Artion Galaxy: Meet Joaquin Nitros

Joaquin Nitros awoke in his bed that morning, to a dark, decrepit, polluted morning. This of course, was typical on Joaquin's home planet, Centropolis. It was another typical day, in paradise, well, for as far as you could go to calling Centropolis a paradise anyway. 1

On this particular day, however, Joaquin happened to be dreaming of a new career, one where he could work for the Artion Galaxy Federation. He was tired of high school life, and was really tired of taking tests, and writing essays. It was time for a switch. 2

One of his main problems was that he was so much like his father, he was cat-like in his movements, he was extremely broad, and his taste for clothing was unmatched by anyone that could be mean to him. 3

He was pretty popular, but popularity couldn't get you anywhere, unless you were going to be in show-biz, or the mafia, so Joaquin was pretty much stuck in the monotony of war. 4

"Joaquin, you had better get up for school, otherwise you'll be late." Joaquin's mother Marie yelled up the stairs. 5

Joaquin jumped out of bed, and pulled on his pants over his underwear, and then he put on a t-shirt with the insignia "Punk Rocker" on it. It was one of the few momentos which survived the move from planet Earth in the Milky Way galaxy, which was now millions of light-years away. No one knew exactly what caused Gaia to strike back with her wrath, against the Earth Global Warming Prevention Status Quo, but it was taken care of all right, and now, Mother Nature ushered in a new ice age, one that was too cold for human survival, that was ten thousand years ago. 6

According to the Watchful Eyes Association, Earth had begun to thaw out, and the old cities were now accessible. They were ready to begin moving citizens back to Earth, and then it was taken over by the extra-terrestrials that Earth had been preparing for millions of years. And Earth, the human planet, became a warzone, currently, the aliens are winning, but the Artion Federation stepped in. Using their GMW's or Giant Mobile Warriors, which were based off of an Anime series from earth, Gundam, although now, the designs were all different then they used to be. Darknatos 1, a dark team of rebels that were against the Artion Galaxy Federation, were armed with their own variation of the GMW's, which they called the D1S's or Darknatos 1 Suits, talk about No Creativity!7

Joaquin walked back down memory lane, remembering the day his father was found Missing in Action, and the emotional problems he faced, and his mother's healing depression. It was the worst thing that could have happened to their family, especially since he was moved from a nice big 12 bedroom manor near the city-square of Centropolis, to a little two bedroom crackerbox on the outskirts of Industrialopolis, which was level 1 of the planet size city. There was only one memento from Joaquin's old life, the fact that he still went to the Centropolis Academy of the Artion Federation. Because, instead of paying the 14,000,000 Credit cost to stay in the house, Marie Nitros would much rather pay the 2,000,000 credit cost of yearly tuition at the school.8

They could barely afford tuition, and so, Joaquin was forced to work at the Centropolis city-square's McDonalds/Taco Bell, frying french fries, and rolling burritos, which was a boring job, but it paid for the groceries, and kept up with the monthly bills, which weren't exactly cheap, but they were paid for each month.9

But Joaquin's toiling at work wasn't the only source of income that the household received. Marie worked hard for money too, and the Federation still gave MIA payments to Marie, for Sean's hard work in the Federation.10

Joaquin walked to the bus station where everyone gathered to get to the city-square. On the way, he passed the Federation Headquarters, and the Ultra-mall. 11

He got off of the hover-bus thirty minutes later, with a pocket full of loose change, and his PDA to do his assignments on. 12

The Centropolis Academy loomed over the next hill and he went over to the place where he had spent the last three years hanging out with his friends and fellow peers. It was just the norm for him now that school was back in session.13

"Well, well, well, I never thought that Joaquin Nitros would still manage to pay tuition costs," the sexy voice of a girl asked. 14

Joaquin turned, and looked Sara Centro in the face. She was the mayor of Centropolis' daughter, and also related to the person that named the planet. "I wondered if I would see you here." Joaquin replied.15

"Did you expect me to go anywhere else?" Sarah asked.16

"Actually, I'd expect you to go to the Puzzle Academy on Tetris, since puzzles seem to be your specialty. What are you taking this year?" Joaquin replied.17

"Hmm, English III, Calculus, Advanced Chysics, War Strategems, and GMW Training, and then I have three periods off." 18

"I'm taking English IV, Calculus, Forensic Science, War Strategems, Troubleshooting, and then three periods of GMW Training. That's pretty much it." Joaquin replied.19

End of the First Chronicle of the Artion Galaxy...20

once again, cool way to start, and smooth move breaking off like that at the end. While you probably weren't thinking this, if you just leave off in the middle of something, people have something in their brains that makes them want to finish it up. So, if you couldn't guess, now I have to finish this up.
