The Anti-Genius Threads a Donkey Head Through the Eye of a Needle

The problem with kindergarden these days is that everyone is taught to be special, to find that within themselves that is special, to never rest until they can grasp something with their chubby little hands that is special.1

The problem with kindergarden is that everyone wants to be special.2

Is everyone special?3

Are we, people who write and draw and toil and think, geniuses by default because our elementary school teachers tell us so?  Are we brilliant because some IQ test lying cold and flat against the grainy table of your psychologist's office told us so?  Are we the elite because we can sit in front of our computers and spill out word after acidic word that is praised by the sea of countless others.4

If they don't like it, they're just stupid.5

If they do, then they must be special.6

Are we special because we are told that we are special?7

Or are we special because we want to believe we're special?8

And are you special, because you desperately cling to some faroff hope that you're not just some mediocre trailer trash like all the others?  Or because you're not just another one of the poor because of your money and your honey-gold threads?  Or because you just can't be unspecial because.9

You just can't be.10

And you can't just be lying and blabbing and taking offense because someone whispered to your ear, seething venom and truth:11
