Gory Battle Story

As Necrus lay beaten up inside the great Colosseum, he could see his opponents axe rushing toward his helmet. He watched as the large battle axe smashed into his his helmet sticking deep into his forehead.He could feel the metal from his helmet also piercing his skin. Then his opponent pulled the battle axe from his head and threw his hands up for the applause from the many fans of the number one gladiator. His name was Exheltor he was the most celebrated gladiator in all of Rome.Necrus was a simple slave boy that had been thrown into some Armor and made to look like a champion from a distant land.Two men came from the gates and dragged Necrus back to his cell. He almost didn't survive the night, somehow Necrus lived. Only something was wrong with him, His face was horribly disfigured.After the fight he was released from slavery because they said he served his purpose, he knew it was because of the way he looked. 1

As Necrus soon found out, life on the outside was way worse than the inside. He had a plain for revenge, He would delicate the next five years of his life to becoming the best gladiator,and from that day on he trained everyday.He became very skilled using his bow and dagger.After the five years had passed Necrus new he was good enough to join the gladiator training school.He stayed in the training school for six years, there he discovered light armor. He knew after six years at the training school he was ready to go after Exheltor.His first fight was against a drunken brute Adonis quickly tore threw him. After he killed the drunken brute he called to the crowed ,"I want Exheltor,".The crowd started to chant Exheltor, Adonis saw the king motion to one of the guards. He heard the two small gates start to open. He could see two tigers walking out onto the battle field. Adonis quickly pulled his bow and shot an arrow at one of the beasts it plunged into its neck the beast stopped and with a quick spray of blood from its neck died. The second beast was to close to use his bow. He quickly pulled out his dagger and stuck it into the beasts eye as it lunged at him. Adonis could see blood squirting from the tigers eye as it went smashing to the ground.Adonis new the beast was not dead and he wanted to wow the crowd, so he took three arrows and planted them in the tigers face then he took his dagger a decapitated the tiger and held the head up in victory. 2

As he held the tigers head he screamed,"I want Exheltor",the crowd again chanted Exheltor. Exheltor could hear there chants in the back. He could not let this low life nothing slander his name.He suited up and ran to the battle field he could see Adonis bloody and grabbing for his bow. Adonis shot the first arrow it missed hitting Exheltor's shield. Adonis quickly pulled another arrow and shot it. This arrow did not miss it tore into Exheltor's shoulder. Exheltor could feel the arrow pierce into his shoulder, His arm when numb then he could feel a terrible burn but he still ran full speed at Adonis quickly dropping his shield and raising his battle axe. Adonis had never faced an opponent like this at his training school, most of them would go down quickly after an arrow had hit them. Adonis could see the large battle axe heading for his torso.He dashed to the left but he could feel the edge of the axe tear into his calf muscle. It shocked him at fist but then it burned, after he finished out his dash he could feel the leg muscle tear even more in his leg.He quickly pulled out his dagger "knowing it would take the brute some time to raise that heavy battle axe" He ran at Exheltor enraged. Exheltor trying to raise his axe as fast as he could felt blood squirt from the arrow wound on his shoulder. He could see out of the corner of his eye Adonis running at him. He felt some thing puncture his arm as he was trying to get spin around. Then he felt something slice his face. He kicked Adonis back and quickly grabbed sword from its holster. Exheltor could feel blood gushing from his arm as he swung the sword at Adonis. Adonis blocked it with his dagger and he again felt the dagger slice into his face. Exheltor for the first time in years was scared,he had never fought someone with this much skill. Exheltor wildly swung the sword at Adonis again. Adonis could see the sword coming at his head so he quickly blocked it with his dagger but it still tore into his chest. Adonis quickly jumped back tearing his calf muscle even more and threw his dagger at Exheltor. Exheltor was about to lunge at Adonis when he felt something stick into the side of his head. He could see the blood oozing and squirting from his head. He could not believe what had happened, that could never happen to him he was invincible.Exheltor's vision went blurry, scared he started to swing blindly thinking Adonis could be anywhere about to kill him. Adonis could see Exheltor was done his face was a bloody mess and his dagger was sticking out of his head.Adonis walked over to Exheltor's axe and grabbed it, he walked over to Exheltor and swung it at his leg. Exheltor was tired of swinging his sword around and was just ready get it over with, when he felt something rip into his leg. He could feel his leg disconnect from his body. He could only scream in pain as he fell to the ground. Exheltor Laid there thinking of his life the pain in his leg and why he was still alive. When he heard the air whistle off of something at that moment his sharp battle axe came smashing threw the helmet splinting his skull in half. 3
