A 11 year old faked a kidnap

I couldn't make this up if I wanted to. 1

Apparently this 11 year old boy recieved his report card from his teacher. He had an F. He was scared of getting in trouble with his parents so after he got off the school bus, he hide his backpack somewhere with his report card in it. He waited for an hour or so before going home and then he went home with a prepared story.2

His story: He was kidnapped and placed into a car. Car apparently was driving slow enough for him to jump out without a scratch. He left his backpack in the car but somehow managed to grab his band instrument.3

His parents take on it: "Ahhhh. It was report card day. He must of gotten an F."4

Nah I don't know what the parents thought but they quickly found out the whole truth. I'm happy I'm not that 11 year old boy at the moment.5

But I have to say, I'm impressed. I can so see myself doing that at his age. I had an evil mind back then. I did something similar back in middle school but I never went far fetch as a kidnapping story. My parents expected me to always make A's and B's. When I got my progress report I had one D on there. So short story was: I came home with a sprain leg. 6

Yes I went as far as to inflict pain on myself. (I would have actually went as far as break my leg but didn't have the guts to do it myself and none of my friends were willing to help.) 7

haha. My mom is an authoritarian style parent, while my dad is very laid back. I have such a complex imagination (the reason I want to become an author) and I can invent such realistic stories that never actually happened, so realistic in fact, sometimes I can't differentiate fact from fiction in my own mind. One time, I hung out late with a friend, and told my Mother that my teacher had to talk to me about a scholarship. she totally believed me.

Woooo I never thought of that one. That's a good one. I would so have done that if I thought of it. Would have saved me a lot of pain. XD but yeah the sprain leg was worth it. I remember I was allowed to eat tons of ice cream in bed.

I was always a very good fibber, I could say it well enough that even I believed it and some times it made it hard cause sometimes when I would come to

them with the truth, and sometime, it was wierd, it was so unbelievable, they did not believe me when I told them. Its kind of like the boy crying wolf. At one time we lived right across from the school so it was hard to hid anything from them, cause they were waiting for us at the cross walk. Once in high school I was walking down the hall with a few friends and well they had this bright idea to knock down the tiles on the ceiling, but I was so short ,and could not really reach, than it was like i flew, i reached up and was able to loosen one and it took like forever to fall and when it did, one of the teachers walked out from a office, it was than that he took us all into the principals office and they landed up suspending everyone but me , and they continued saying, We know hes not involved he just not that kind of boy and he could not reach that high, but deep inside I wanted to say, hey that the last tile that fell was my fault and yes I can reach lol.

Oh wow I can see why they wouldn't believe the truth. I learne not to be surprised by what kids can do. When I was a teen, I was the skinniest, weakest, shortest person in my classes. And I was able to do a lot of damage. XD

We weren't that imaginative when I was a kid. the best we could come up with was, "The dog ate it." If that poor dog ate half of what we claimed, he'd have died a lot sooner than he did.

Lol. Nothing terrible happened in my home if I didn´t bring home good grades - I usually did anyway though And if something like that happened I´d probably have an excuse ready either way

Btw, that kid´s story was lame. Should have given himself some bruises to sell the story

Yeah if I went for a kidnap story, I would think the whole thing through in detail. Appearence, how it happen, what the guys looked like, the get away part. Oh yes I would do some serious details.

Oh of course. Though something like that seems too much bother really. Simple things - like a sprained ankle - work better.

(I can´t believe you were willing to have your leg broken though)

Yeah I went the lazy and simple way.

(you don't know how strict my parents were on grades. Couldn't even get a C even though that is a passing grade. I would have so had a broken leg if only my friend would swing that text book a little harder.)

I hid my progress reports and acted like I didn't get mine. xD They left it alone... until the report cards made their way home.

Lol. But that was a long time ago. The reason for my bad grades = the kids in class didn't exactly like me much, and the teacher didn't pay attention to me... and I was shy.

Oh well. I changed my ways in 7th grade. *Started doing my work for myself and got B's and A's. ^____^*

xD Lol, I feel bad for that boy, I really do.

Wow... thou's sprained leg... made me laugh. XD (Just now) Great entry. :] It made my day. ^___^

ok, so how can a sprained leg help you not show your card to your parents...
and that little boy was pretty clever though
and I...blame it on either the cat or the fish

The sprain leg was to make me look all pityful and wounded. I wanted them to feel sorry for me. XD It sort of worked. They still yelled at me but not as much.
