The morning rose high in the sky, blinding anyone who wishes to gaze upon its beauty. The wind gently played with each other, causing not a sound. Mother nature stretch as far as I can see, coating the world with its green blanket. The trees reached up as far as they can go, hugging tightly onto each other, letting the sun blaze in the little gaps that seeped between their fingers. All the trees was magnificent, tougher than steel as they held themselves firmly on the ground. But. none of the trees could compare to the mother of all trees that lie nicely in the middle of the forest. Its hard, dark, bark hugging the tree like armor on a soldier. Its roots digging deeper into the rough soil then any tree have gone. And its head, stretch taller and mightier, like a king on his mighty thrown. 1
The day was silent, all except the little demons that hid in the leaves of the tree. The fox demon tightened his brown eyes, hushing the other two. "He's going to find us." The demon spoke in a slight whisper. He peeped a bit to see if he could notice anyone. He gave a sigh as he ruffled his tamed, black hair. "We lost him," he stated in relief. 2
The bigger one chuckled, "No one can find us here." His blue eyes brightened as a grin stretched across his lips. "But, I wish that the hiding spot as a bit more comfortable." He moped, as he tugged his arm away from this branch, trying to get his sleeve off of its grasp. 3
The feminine one chuckled, ruffling the demon's red, curly locks. Her brown eyes sparkled, "Well, the best isn't always the easiest to handle, Derrek." She gave him a comforting kiss on the forehead. Crimson died his cheeks as he scratched the back of his head.4
"Hello?" A soft, high pitched voice called out to the three. They all flinched as they recognized who that voice came from. The first demon popped his head out, rolled his brown eyes, and cried, "Go away, Yoko! We don't play with babies!" Derrek snorted as he mocked, repeating the word baby.5
Yoko locked his huge golden eyes into his, "I'm not a baby." He fiddled with his shoulder-length, silver hair, "I'm six."6
Derrek smacked his forehead, "That's a baby, you dork!" The black haired being chuckled as he pulled him close, ruffling his red hair. 7
The black haired fox called back, "Yeah, and I'm thirteen! Until your that age, then you can play with us!"8
Yoko bit his bottom lip, holding back his tears, "But, mommy said you have to play with me, Adonis." He placed his little claw-tipped fingers on the trunk, hoping he would be able to play with his older brother.9
Adonis held a sly smile, "Do you see mother anywhere?" Yoko looked over both shoulders then looked back up, and shook his head. Adonis called back, "Then, no!" Yoko dropped his ears, trailing his eyes to the ground. His shoulders went limp as he started to walk off, dragging his tail behind him. His eyes watered as he hear mocks bit at him. The mockery hasn't stopped until he was out of sight.10
He dragged himself to his campsite, crying and sobbing. "What's wrong, my little kit?" his eyes shot upward to see a woman figure. Her tender, blue eyes held onto him. His eyes watered more as he leaped at her, buring his face into her neck. She stroke at his hear, calming him, "Baby, what's wrong?" 11
Yoko choked, "Adonis is being mean! He wont let me play with him!" He buried himself into her long, silk, silver hair. She rolled her eyes, getting irritated at her eldest's attitude. "He said I couldn't play, because I was a baby." Her ears twitched as she strained to hear that last part.12
She patted the back of his head, "Oh, then how 'bout this? You can stay here with mommy." She pulled him back to face her, "You can help me around the house, and when we are done, I will make you your favorite snack. How's that?" Yoko's eyes brightened as he nodded rapidly. The mother tapped her nose on his, smiling, "OK, then!" She placed him down, and nearly blared out laughing as she saw this blur of silver ran into her tent. Her smile trailed off as she stared at the direction where the mother of all trees were. She placed firm hands on her hips, "I will deal with Adonis later!" 13
The night was long. The mother gazed up at the stars, mesmerized by its beauty. She sighed out of content, taking in all details of the stars. "Why must ye look at the stairs?" She nearly jumped at the tender, deep voice that called to her.14
She turned behind her and greeted her mate with a smile, "Because it's pretty." She walked up to him and pressed her lips onto his. Her tail wrapped around both of them, trapping him.15
The leader pulled back, golden eyes still locked on hers, "Well, ye yells at thee every time thy looks at ye for so long." She brought a hand up to her cheeks trying to prevent him from noticing the raspberry color. He always talked that way when he was in a good mood. She was happy that he was happy. 16
Her fingers ran through his short, coal hair, "Now, you don't mean that." Her voice was teasing as she kissed at his cheek.17
A chuckle caught into his throat, "I mean it. You are the most beautiful maiden I have ever seen." He engulfed her with tender kisses. She wrapped her arms behind his neck, gripping tightly onto him. Her tail danced with his dark one as she wrapped a leg around one of his. He pulled back, "I got to get some stuff. I'll be right back." Her face dropped but she nodded. 18
She snapped her fingers, and called back to him, "You might need to talk to your son, Adonis." 19
He turned around, still walking, and shrugged his shoulders, "Oh, he's my kid when he does something stupid." He held a playful smile on his face.20
The female mate chuckled, "Well, stupid is your category." She couldn't help but laugh when she saw his face drop. He stuck his bottom lip out, crossed his arms around his chest, and humphed. A smile stretch across her lips, "Well, if you have time to see Adonis."21
He wiped his brow, "I'm sorry, babe." He gave her a sorry look, "I have to go again...Soon. And, I wont have time to come back."He noticed the painful look his mate shot back at him. He walked up and held her tightly in his embrace, "I'm sorry, Danica." He pulled her tightly up to him.22
Danica's eyes started to water, "So, I wont be able to see you?" He locked his golden orbs onto her pool of blue. He slowly nodded as he locked lips with her. A small pair of tears was able to poke their little faces out of her eyes and down her cheeks. Her love brought his hand to her face, and caressed her face with his hand. His thumb wiped away the previous tears as he deepened the kiss. 23
It felt like only a second when he pulled back and started to walk off. Danica stared at him, with her heart crying out in pain. She felt her chest cave as her nerves started to shook her. She sniffed a bit, tearing again at the thought of her living with out him. She rested her hand over her heart and prayed. May you be safe, my love. I will wait for you. You will be back to a loving family and two strong, healthy boys. I promise.

Author notes
This is going to be a fanfic about my favorite anime char, Kurama. I decided to use Yoko, because I was in the mood to write some Yoko love. This is going to be a story on how Yoko got to be leader of his bandit group, how he met Kuronue, Yomi. Stuff like that.
I'm actually satisfied at how this came out. This took me about, four hours to do. Hope you guys like this. =^^=
