Dear Sir,1

I do not know how to say this; I know that you feel that my family took everything from you as it was part of the reason in your letter, although I know nothing off what they took from you. I love my family dearly even though I myself have been wronged by them, I may not be as wronged by them as you have been although for years I was mentally tortured by my family to the point I thought of suicide. However, I learned quickly that this was because of they're own narrow mindedness. Yes, they have done all that they have for money but maybe the way they’re feeling now will resolve that. After all they have been scared witless by now and hopefully that will give them some insight into the pain that they have caused. I must sound to you like a spoiled little girl who has everything and is now ranting about what has been done to her, but what I tell you is the truth. Without suffering there can be no compassion, I’m sure you have been holding this grudge against them for as long as you can but it’s time to let go. I have also been advised to tell you that I will be able to pay a ransom although you have made no demands. Ask what you want, after all it will do them no good if they’re dead and I promise you no one will come after you.2
