"Heh, I've just focused on the kunai above, and how long your shadow can go. So if I just stay behind this line, I'm safe," I grinned. Shikamaru didn't look so sure. "Now, time to finish you off-" I tried to moved my arm. My body... It won't move! "Your a good competitor. Too bad you didn't think about the holes," He yawned.
"Holes!" I questioned/stated. My head turned and I seen that his shadow came from the hole Naruto came out of. "I give up!" Shikamaru announced. Asura came down next to me. "What? Why give up?" She asked. Thanks for the support, Asura! "Well, I'm about to run out of chakura. So I give up," He shrugged. Asura smiled at me and raised my hand as Shikamaru's shadow faded. "Winner!" She announced. The crowd went wild. I smirked and put my fan on my back. "Come on Asura. I'm sure Gaara wants to see you." She smiled. 1

I blinked a few times. "Hey! How did you know?"
"It's not that hard to figure out, Asura. I think almost everyone knows," She teased. My cheeks turned red. "Not funny!" I pouted. She rolled her eyes and dragged me until we were in the 1st level. "Sasuke Uchiha still hasn't arrived!"
"I heard they were going to disqualify him!" Another person whispered. I froze and tugged my hand away from Temari. "Let me speak with the Hokage for a moment," I stated. She nodded and watched me transfer to the Hokage's side. "Sir, your not going to give Sasuke more time?" I questioned. The Kazakage glanced to both of us. "I'm afraid not, Asura. He broke the rules in arriving late . . . ,"
"You have to be pulling my leg, Hokage. People have been waiting to see this performance. And frankly, I want to see if my son has lived up to his potential,"
"He has!" I broke in. They both stared at me. I waved my hands and shaking my head. "I-I mean, that's what I heard! I'm sorry for the outburst, Lord Kazakage."
"Hmm, it's quite alright. You seem to be the type that my son would perk for, only if he wasn't like what he is: A monster," The Kazakage chuckled. I clutched my fists together in anger. "Just please give Sasuke more time!" I pleaded. The Hokage grinned. "Well, since you are friends with both nations, I shall allow more time," He concluded. I smiled. "Thank you, Lord-Hokage," I said before transferring.2
"The Uchiha kid has more time?" Temari asked. I nodded. "I give up!" Kankuro shouted. I paused. "He what!" I snapped. Temari turned around and sighed. "We have specific . . . orders. Kankuro was suppose to give up," She explained. "What is your plan?" I asked. Temari had a saddened frown. "I wish we could tell you," She sighed. I closed my eyes, only to shoot them open. The crowd's applause hit my ear drums. "Temari, go ahead. I have something to say for Gaara anyway," I waved her away. She smirked and hurried up the stairs.
