Amy and Brian were sitting by the lake and were sitting on the white sand. Amy was looking down and Brian lifted her chin up. He kissed her gently and said, "I love you.". 2
"I love you too." Amy replied with a smile. Brian returned the smile and then quickly grabbed her by the neck, choking her. While Amy was struggling to push Brian's hand away, he shoved her head underneath the water. Amy was screaming but only breathed in more water. 3
"It's the only way." Amy heard Brian say. She took one more look at him and blacked out.4

Amy woke up from her dream in a cold sweat. She sat up and screamed, then franticly looked around her room. Realizing what she saw was just a dream, she put her head in her hands and sighed. Amy knew she wouldn't be able to sleep anytime soon, so she put on her coat, got in her car, and drove.6
Brian had been driving around the town since he left Amy's house which was about two hours. He saw Kat's house and pulled into the driveway. He rang the doorbell, knowing that Kat would still be awake on the couch. Kat opened the door and yawned. She was wearing dark purple sweatpants and a white tanktop. "Hey, Brian." she said.7
"Hey." Brian replied. "Can I come in?"8
"Yeah, sure." Kat said. "My mom's passed out from alcohol again so she won't be up for a while." Kat held the door open and let Brian in. Brian walked into the living room to the right and sat down on the over-stuffed white couch. As he put his head in his hands, Kat asked what was wrong. 9
"It's Amy." he said as he took his head out of his hands and sat up. "She cut herself really bad. She would have died if I didn't bandage her up in time."10
"Oh my god, that's terrible." Kat said. "She's okay, right?"11
"I think so." Brian said. "She told me told leave when she woke up. She told me...She told me that I had killed her already."12
"Why, what'd you do?" Kat asked.13
"Well, to make a long story short, she kind of blurted out that she loved me yesterday."14
Kat raised her eyebrows. "Oh, wow."15
Brian nodded. "Yeah, I know. So after I patched her up and she woke up I told her that I can't love her because she cuts."16
"I don't really know what to say." Kat said as she sat down next to Brian. 17
"Heh, neither did I." Brian said. "I just...left."18
Kat started to play with her pendant. "Must be a lot of stress on both of you."19
"Yeah." Brian replied. "It is."20
Kat pulled Brian into a hug. "It'll get better." she said.21
"I hope so." Brian sighed, his head on Kat's shoulder. "I just feel so..." he trailed off as he pulled away from Kat a little.22
"Vulnerable?" Kat finished, her hands on Brian's arms. 23
"Yeah." Brian said, not looking away from Kat's eyes. Brian took his hand and brushed Kat's hair back. Then, on a sudden urge, he leaned in and kissed her. Kat did not resist or pull away. She put her hands on his cheeks and kissed him passionatly. Brian reached behind Kat's neck and unlatched the necklace that Jake gave Kat. He had it in his left hand and threw it carelessly onto the floor. Brian stationed his hands on Kat's hips and kept them there for the moment.24
Outside, Amy pulled up in her car and parked it on the street, seeing two cars already in the driveway at a second's glace. She didn't bother to see who's cars they were, she was too distracted. She walked up to the door and looked through the window to see if Kat was still awake. She rang the doorbell and did a double take as when she saw Kat and Brian kissing. Her finger was frozen to the doorbell until a liquor bottle flew through the air and broke on the door. Amy jumped back, startled, ans heard Kat's mother yell, "Stop ringin' the damn doorbell!" 25
Amy looked over at Kat and Brian, now staring at Amy with their arms still wrapped around each other. "Amy!" Brian yelled out to her. Amy just stood there for a second or two before noticing that Brian had gotten up to open the door. Amy backed up a few steps before turning around and walking quickly to her car. She got in the car, but not before hearing both Kat and Brian yell after her. Amy sped away as fast as she legally could, wanting desperatly for what she saw to be another dream. 26
At Kat's house, Brian put his head in his hands and then looked up at Kat again. "I'd better go." he said, shaking his head.27
"Uh, yeah." Kat said, trying to not look at Brian. "I'll, um, see you tomorrow."28
Brian nodded and got in his car. He left the neighborhood and went back to his house. His father was asleep on the couch with a beer in his hand, the tv still on. Brian quietly crept upstairs and went into his room. He lay down on his bed, put his hands behind his head, and wondered how his life got so terribly screwed up.29

Despite the fact that you probably don't want me commenting on your stuff anymore, I just thought I'd say that I thought this chapter was really good - starting off with the dream I was like 'huh whats going on here' and then when she woke up i was like whew, and then Kat and Brian kissing and Amy seeing them ... Talk about being left hanging on the cliffs edge
And in response to BlackBloodyRose, I'd say it was a heat of the moment kiss? I've been in that kind of situatino before x.x Unfortuately!
