The day everything went downhill: final chapter

David got outside and started pacing. He was enraged. How could his father do something like this? How could he hurt his mother like this? It wasn't fair. David waited for a few minutes and couldn't wait anymore. David went to the trunk of his car and pulled out the car jack and went over to his dads truck smashing the windows. He was releasing anger. He couldn't understand what made his dad do this. He was sick of all the shit he'd put his mom and David through. Life would've been much better if he would have never started anything with Davids mom. 1

Once David had smashed every window and dented the truck beyond sensible repair, he got in his car and drove home. Davids mother was still in the hospital, but he knew she was going to be alright. He went up to his room and had the best sleep he'd had in a long time. 2

Amber was now out of his life, but she would always have his heart. David went to her grave site and just sat there talking to her. Even though he couldn't see her, he knew she could hear him and was listening. David did this every day for a few months. Then he cut it back to every week. He couldn't bring himself to part with her. She was his life. His reason for living. She was the one he would always love.3

Davids life fell apart from here on out. He felt his life was pointless and had absolutely no meaning without Amber. He started slacking in school, which caused him to loose his place on the football team. He became severely depressed and began cutting. He eventually got into drugs. David was a mess. He couldn't be helped. Really, he didn't want to be helped. He just wanted to be with Amber.4
