Why was I here, what had happened to me, how did I "die"?1
These things I needed to figure out, or so Nate had told me..2
I continued walking down the street, or what was left of it..and I saw a sign barely hanging to a bent-up pole. The sign read "East Wicker Street". Looking at this sign made me have a flashback of a time I didn't remember. I was in a car, peering through the rain...and suddenly a guardrail popped up in front of me..and that was the last thing I saw. Maybe it was a flashback of how I had died..?3
It was still all a messy blur to me..4
I continued walking down "East Wicker Street" and I came to a house, and like the building I had seen before, it was perfectly fine. It stuck out like a sore thumb from this distorted, hellish reality. I got closer, and nothing happened. The door was cracked slightly open, as if inviting me inside.5
I walked in, and I had yet another flashback. I was with my family sitting around the table playing cards, having a great time. I missed my family terribly. I'm sure they missed me as well. Then I came out of the flashback and I was standing in a room, severely battered. The walls looked burned and there were holes in some of them...and there was no ceiling, save for a few places, either.6
A lone television sat in a corner that was under the cieling. It was playing static, but every so often I could make out an image on it. It looked like a small child's face, pale and with a terrified look on it's face. This seemed to repeat over and over again. I looked around behind the set, and I found that the TV had a wire out from it, but it was unplugged, and yet it still worked. Creepy.7
I walked out of the house to find that there were "people" walking around the streets in big cloaks and some carried pitchforks, some carried scythes..and they all carried lanterns on them. There were seven of them. One in particular looked at me, came very close to me, and then let out a chuckle and left. He, or I'm assuming "it" was a male, had a single piercing neon blue eye. As it left, I noticed it motioned for me to follow.8
Nate appeared once again and these things scattered like scared children.9
"Don't EVER follow them. They will lead you down into hell..and you'll become one of them. Steer clear of the seven deaths..or you'll regret it.."10
After this, the death that tried to make me follow him tore a hole open in the air, and the hole he had made began spewing white flames, and he stepped inside, as did the others. The hole then closed up, and Nate dissapeared again.11
Why did he keep dissolving into nothingness? It made no sense..12
I kept walking along the street until I came to what appeared to be a dead end. Everything that was there was split in-two and everything from that point on was just black. It appeared to be a big black veil was covering everything else up.13
I touched it, and noticed something very big made a sound as if it were agitated.14
I looked up, and this "veil" was really a very large tree-like creature. I froze in place and it looked down at me with a look as if I'd woken it up. I turned to run, and I noticed the creature moved extermely slow, as it was trying to chase me, and I could see the blackness was covering things up slowly, little-by-little.15
Nate appeared once again beside of me.16
"Why do you keep doing that?!"17
"Doing what? It's my job to inform you..anyway, that thing is "eating" the netherworld. It's normally only found in hell..but it somehow got out. I suggest you stay away from it, because now it knows what you taste like. You touched it, I saw. It'll follow you now, and it will eventually eat you unless you find how you died, and I see you've discovered some clues to that.."18
Nate then jumped into the air, and handed me his hand.19
"Come on now, there's not much time!"20
I jumped in with him, and we were back in the parking lot I'd woken up in this miserable place.21
I turned around to thank him, but he was already gone. Go figure..22

Wow, good imagery! This is so bizarre. You did great continuing the story, it didn't seem to get sidetracked.
