Middle Eastern Loneliness

I've burned every bridge I ever crossed so I can get to this point, alone by myself in the slums of Iran. I'm just trying to stay alive, you'd be surprised the things war will do to you. I blew out a baby's brain yesterday, I think I'm going crazy, my mind ain't thinkin right. My squad has forgot me, my mother is dead, and my father's giving up on me. So here I stand, hiding behind a wrecked shack, A pistol in each hand, fully prepared to take another life. 1

How I got here, I still haven't figured out, I just remember the club to the back of my neck, I woke up in that room with no idea where I was. They spoke in a language I couldn't understand and they stuck a needle in my neck and through me out in the streets. 2

I guess they figured the locals would kill me anyway, or maybe they plan to take me back and examine me. I still don't know whats been shot into my blood, but I know it isn't right. Every second there's a throbbing in my head and my veins are turning black. When adrenaline pumps through my veins, I feel like I'm gonna suffocate and I can barely pull the trigger. My life's been hacked into peices, this is my own undoing, I can't hide for much longer.3
