\Ch.1/ ☠ My Best Friend, ♥ My Secret Love ♥, My Enemy ☠ / BFFs\

"Reun! . . . Reun, wait up!" A teen-age boy stopped in his tracks, turning halfway to hear a joyful laugh, and a familiar face. The footsteps quickened, and the girl flung herself at him, her arms open wide. He dropped his school bag, catching her into his embrace. "Hello, Mimi. How are you this morning?" The auburn-hair girl with black highlights smiled cheerfully, picking up his bag for him. "Fine actually! What about you, Reun, your early again!" She leaned ford slightly while they began walking to O'Hara High School for the Gifted. "I know. I can't seem to sleep any later than six fifty," Reun sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. Mimi giggled slightly, straightening herself as they entered the gates. "Well, you better be awake for class, Ro-Ro! They'll kick you out quicker than you blink!" Reun chuckled, winking at her secretly. "Aww! It's the lovely couple everyone!"
"Wah!" They both shouted in unison, seeing the class president, Nuna, walk up, surrounded by the other class presidents from different grades. "I believe she's teasing us, Ro-Ro!" Mimi began laughing, making Reun follow suit. He always loved hearing her laugh. It filled him away from the bad memories . . . "Ro-Ro?" The dark-haired student blinked, looking down to a concerned Mimi. "Ha, nothing to worry about, Mi. So, Nuna, you like teasing me, and Mimi, ne?" He tilted his head slightly, using a charming smile. The female president blushed, looking away before anyone noticed. Mimi lowered her head slightly, hiding a jealous glare. 1

Reun settled himself beside Mimi, and put his bag down beside him, taking out a notepad, and a few pencils. "Oh shoot," Mimi pouted beside him, making his eyes wander to her form as she stared sadly at her broken pencil. He hated that look. "Oh Mimi, your so silly. Here." He handed her a silver pen, a heart with wings was engraved towards the tip. "Oh no, Reun. That's your special pen . . ."
"I want you to have it, Mimi." He placed it in her soft hand, chuckling slightly. Girls in the back started breaking their pencils, blushing like mad when Reun glanced to them. "Alright class, settled down, now before we begin-" Mrs. Ura stopped, seeing all the raised hands. "Yes?"
"May we sharpen our pencils, Mrs. Ura?" They all asked in unison, making Mimi giggle. 2

After three classes, it was time for lunch, when the classmates can interact and roam outside. "Oh Reun! Care to join my friends and I?" The male student looked back, seeing tenth grade president, Mura Mura walking his direction, a bunch of clacking girls following. "I wish I could ladies, but I have already scheduled a lunch meeting with someone else."
"Oh, I see. Well, some other time!" They walked past him, acting like they were better. Reun shook his thoughts away, looking desperately for his closest friend. 3

"Mi!" He called, waving his hands to the girl, who was all teary-eyed, and sitting alone, under a tree. "Mimi! W-what happened?" Reun jogged up, seeing some of her hair was in different directions, sticking up, or swooping down. "S-some kids made fun of my hair . . . and messed it up," she wiped her tears, trying to ignore some knots tugging the rest of her hair with it. "Oh, Mimi . . ." Reun settled beside her, running a hand down her temple, cupping her cheek, while the other tangled into her fiery hair, not daring to touch the beautiful, and natural, black pieces. "Where's your hairbrush?" She bit on her bottom lip, keeping the sobs in her. "T-they broke it . . ." Reun stared at her face as it began to turn red. 4

"Mimi . . . Who did it?" She shook her head harshly to the sides, as if to get rid of the memories. "Ro-Ro . . . Do you like my hair?" He looked taken back at her question. "Of course! Why do you think I removed every sharp object from your house when you wanted it short?" Mimi stayed quiet, pondering his comment, just before wrapping her arms around him tightly. "Reun . . . This is why your my best friend: You never laugh at me, get mad, upset, or anything towards me but happiness . . . Sometimes, I think I don't deserve you . . ." Reun grasped her closer, burying his face in her dark hair. "No, Mimi. I don't deserve you. I'm glad we grew up together." Mimi pulled back slightly, smiling. "Alright. Let's get back to class!" She stood up, grabbing his hand.

NOTE:
Reun's nickname, said and made up by Mimi, is pronounced 'Roo - Roo' like, a kangaROO, with the ending of the mammal's name as his nickname. Hope that helped! =^-^=

This was good... a couple of mistakes, though. The major one that I noticed was the way it was structured. For example, when someone else begins to talk, it should be a new paragraph. It was a good story though, well done.
