The Adventures of Minnesota Smith and Alabama Brown

"Higher, Al!" Minne yelled to her partner, who was starting to slow down while climbing the mountain. 2

"I can't go any more! I'm too tired!" He sat down on the ground and yawned. 4

"Al! You can't stop now! We need to get to the top!" Minne protested. Just then, a giant monster came up to them and picked them up.6

"I see two adventurers who need naps!" the monster said. 8

"No! I don't wanna!" Minne yelled. "Al, help me!" Unfortunately, Al was already under the monster's spell and half asleep. They were put into a giant bed and the monster took their adventurer hats and shoes. The giant door closed and the two were left in a dark room. Sleepiness took over the two and they were sent to Dreamland.10

Minne woke up, finally out of the monster's spell. She crawled out of the bed and looked for her adventurer's hat. She found it on top of a tall tower. She found squishy, plastic-covered rocks and pulled them over to the tower. She climbed on top of the rocks and grabbed her hat. She jumped down to the ground and ran out the door. 12

Al was sitting at the table, eating. Minne joined him and ate her sandwich and drank her milk. The monster came back and laid a tray of apple pieces out for them. Al reached for one, but Minne stopped him.14

"Al, don't eat it! It's poison!"16

"But I like apples." Al said innocently. He grabbed one and ate it. Since Al wasn't choking on it, Minne grabbed one herself. They were nice and juicy. After their lunch, they grabbed their jump ropes and Minne said, "Come on, Al. Let's finish climbing the mountain." 18

"Okay!" They ran to the mountain and started climbing. "We made it to the top!" Al said, once they got to the very top. 20

"What do we do now?" asked Al.22

"Do you kids want to go to the park?" the monster asked.24

"Yeah!" they both exclaimed.26

"We'll fight pirates!" Minne suggested.28

"Okay." Al agreed.30

    Wow!!!!!!! This was an amazing story...I loved it...It was very descriptive and your characters seemed to jump off the page. You are a great writer! Great job!
