A one-night stand.. something Yazoo would never have expected the night before his wedding with Cloud. Looking into Sephiroth's eyes always made the other melt, but he didn't love him. Oh no, it was just a pointless one-night stand. Sephiroth was married and Yazoo was getting married. Both ruined their relationships due to that event, but it didn't stop Yazoo to think. Think about Sephiroth and how safe he felt in his arms, even though it was just for the night. 5

Sephiroth on the other end, couldn't stop thinking about Yazoo. No matter how many times he tried. The angel face, girlish figures, and the smile that made the One-Winged Angel fall for the other. Just for this one time.. just to see how those lips felt. Yazoo's lips felt like rose petals against his own. Extremely soft.. delicate..6

The wedding day came up, Genesis found out about the one-night stand and ruined the whole day. That day.. was the first time Yazoo actually shed a few tears. Making Cloud regret nearly wanting to slap him across the face. Sephiroth didn't want those tears to flow no longer as he talked to Cloud, changing the blond's mind. 'One more chance. Just one more.' Yazoo remembered hearing from Cloud's lips.7

Yazoo blew that chance a few weeks later, as he confused to Sephiroth his true feelings. The other hesitantly told the young one the same, glancing to the side. Both couldn't help but to kiss each other once more. Cloud gave up, as did Genesis but Sephiroth didn't care as he held his angel close. Yazoo was confused, torn between two people who he loved with all his heart. Sephiroth promised protection as did Cloud, but for some reason Yazoo went to the One-Winged Angel. 8

Cloud just waved Yazoo off as he walked off, with Yazoo's older brother following behind. Genesis doesn't really bother, but he is starting to become close to Sephiroth's angel. The thing is.. Yazoo has a feeling, a very strong feeling.. that he's wasting his time. He feels that Sephiroth still loves Genesis on the inside, and he feels that Genesis feels the same for Sephiroth. 9

The angel wants to leave, at least for a while. To clear his head, his heart. He loves Sephiroth, yet due to Cloud.. he can't stand it. Sephiroth likes Yazoo, but he secretly loves Genesis. Yet, Sephiroth said it himself. "Fate brought us together, Yazoo." How the One-Winged Angel said it made Yazoo smile, but what if it's a lie? Has fate really brought them together, or has fate decided to play around on the chess board as Yazoo the pawn..?10

"Yazoo?" Sephiroth asked one night as he looked down at Yazoo, nearly falling asleep on the bed. 12

"Hm?" 13

"I.. love you." Sephiroth said, barely above a whisper. The other looked at him and smiled softly.14

"I love you too." 15

Cloud, Cloud, Cloud. That name haunts Yazoo's dreams, forcing him to wake up in the middle of the night and curl up into a little ball. He can't help it, no.. he can't. He loves Sephiroth.. yet deep inside, in his dreams.. He still loves Cloud. Cloud.. who promised to protect him no matter what. Who promised to never let a single tear fall down the angel's cheeks. Who promised to always love him, no matter what. Who wanted.. Yazoo to be his only. Who wanted.. to see that smile everyday.17

Sephiroth.. just wants Yazoo to come with him to destroy and kill people. Who sometimes want the angel in public places, not caring if they get into trouble or not. Sephiroth.. cares.. at times for the other. Surprising the angel if he says something right to Sephiroth. 18

Both make him feel loved.19

Both want him.20

Both wants to see that smile everyday.21

But.. Yazoo loves both and he doesn't want to hurt them anymore. He finally decided to leave..
