Work in Progress/ The 45 degrees of Bar Harbor, Maine

1. Why is it when a visitor wants to cross the street they walk1

at a 45 degree angle. Wouldn't it be quicker and safer to 2

walk straight across? Point A to point B = safety. 3

2. Or... standing in the road shielding eyes to the sun4

looking up the street for what!? Being unaware of the auto5

coming up from behind.6

3. ...And don't even get me started on Baby Checks!7

This is how I witnessed one couple cross a busy street.8

Pushing a baby carriage out first between parked cars into 9

a busy street filled with other unthinking visitors. 10

4. Cross walks? Duh... whats those? Is it realized that after 11

so many years of summer seasons the native folk do not stop12

anymore except for cross walks? Be careful 13

5. Now we have the questions. 14

"You must have had a dry summer"15

Over looking the ocean while the tide is out. This one is 16

always a great chuckle.17

"I heard, when the tide is out on the Bar Harbor side of the18

island it's high on the other side"19

Now this is a head scratcher. Haha...20

Or get this one!21

On the town pier a lady parks with her husband. Gets out 22

of her car walks around the back and over to her husband.23

While not looking where she's going she bangs her head 24

on a canoe strapped to the roof of a jeep. She loudly25

complained that the canoe shouldn't have been there 26

strapped like that. Hahaha.... Oh my gawd they kill me!27

So... for an opening intro to this future book will be.28

Go ahead and laugh at yourself. I do. 29
