I've read and heard too many times that death is easy and living is hard. 1
The only reason dying is easy to those certain people is because they had nothing to live for in the first place, and they feel like they should just give up. If you're life is full of people you love and care about then you won't want to die, in turn making dying hard and living for the people you love easy.2
I've also heard people ask what's the point of living if we're going to die someday.3
*for those of us in America*4
If you take this question seriously and you live in America, then shame on you. Do you put your hand over your heart whenever you recite the pledge of allegiance? or whenever someone sings or plays the national anthem? If there are people who think this way then why the hell did 217,000 U.S. soldiers fight for our freedom? If you think that way what were they trying to save? Thomas Jefferson wrote that men have 3 inalienable rights life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. 5
Here it is my friends. No one can tell you what your reason for living should be. The key is that you have to live your life to the fullest and pursuit your personal happiness. So stop whining and go live your fucking life already.6
A life not lived for others isn't a life worth living at all.
