NejiDei- Destiny chapter 2

Neji slowly opened his eyes after what felt like an eternity of half dreams and nightmares. As soon as he did he felt the burning pain of his wounds. He tested his muscles, from wiggling his toes to shaking his head. He sat up slowly, wincing in pain as he did so, and scanned the room for any threats. The bed he was on creaked as he moved. He was in a room what he guessed belonged to a teenager. 1

It looked like a tornado blew through it more than once.2

The floor was covered in scrunched up paper, used paint brushes, all kinds of food, and paint stained clothes. On one side of the room was a large dusty window with light shining through and a desk. But what really caught his attention was an unfinished painting on a canvas of a naked young man with glowing white eyes and angel wings.3

He was about to get a closer look when the blanket he was under slid down his body. And that’s when he realized he was completely naked. His face turned beet red and he pulled the blanket over his chest. He lie down again, and quickly fell asleep.4

The next time he woke up, it was dark and his body didn't hurt as much. He sat up and tested his muscles again, they were stiff but they all were working. He activated his Byakugan and scanned the room. Everything was the same except for the body on the floor next to the bed he was in. 6

Neji's eyes widened in fear and he backed himself against the wall. Unfortunately he bumped his head HARD against the wall, knocking himself out.7

Neji frowned in his sleep and rolled over. "No..."He mumbled. He rolled over to the edge of the bed. "God dammit Lee!" He grumbled, his eyebrows furrowing. He batted out one hand gentle fist style and fell off the bed and onto the sleeping blonde on the floor.9

"Goddammit Tob-AHHH!!!" Deidara screeched, sitting up quickly.10

Neji screamed in return and stood up quickly pulling the blanket with him.11

"Ah...youre finally awake hmm?" Deidara said shakily, fixing his hair.12

"How long have I been out?"13

Deidara thought for a second. "3 days yeah."14

Neji (still stiff and sore) staggered to the side.15

"Hey you ok hmm?" The blonde Nin asked, taking a step forward.16

"I AM NOT FUCKIN' OK!" Neji snapped. "I have no idea where I am, I have no idea who you are! And to top it off, im naked!!!"17

Deidara stifled a laugh. "Your clothes are over there un." He said pointing to where Neji's torn but clean clothes were in a neat pile. "And im not going to hurt you, you can relax yeah."18

While Deidara continued Neji inched towards his clothes. "How can I know I can trust you?"19

"I swear yeah." He said holding a hand to his chest.20

"Would you stop that?" Neji grumbled.21

"Stop what yeah?"The blonde asked, pulling his hand away from his chest as it began to lick him.22

"Saying that."23

"Sayin' what un?"24

"...Never mind," He said pulling on his clothes. He checked his pockets for kunai or shuriken, of course they were empty.25

"Lookin for these hmm?" Deidara asked, pulling them out of his pocket.26

Neji groaned. Well this is great. I can’t fight him because my chakra level is so low I wouldn’t possibly have a chance, now he has my weapons too?27

"You are in Akatsuki right?" Neji asked, pointing out the Nins headband.28

"Correct yeah."He sighed, sitting down casually on the bed.29

"So you were the one that caused so many Konoha ninjas to die?" Neji said, clenching his fists.30

"Pretty much, yeah." He replied inspecting his fingernails.31

Neji couldnt hold it back any longer, he launched himself at him full force, aiming for a vital point. Before he knew it he had his arms twisted behind his back. 32

He screamed in pain and tried to kick Deidara. But he was to fast and had two fingers to the side of his neck before he could even blink.33

"Dont.move." Deidara said very seriously now. 34

Should I? Neji thought in his head. It would cost a lot of chakra, but if I could just…35

He activated his Byakugan.36

He cursed before falling to his knees. Deidara released his hold and picked him up; Neji glared at him and squirmed in his arms. He never let Lee carry him so he for sure wouldn’t let this freak carry him.37

“Hungry un?” Deidara asked, ignoring his stares.38

“No!” Neji snapped, trying to cover the sound of his stomach growling. 39

The blonde rolled his eyes and kicked the door open. Surprisingly the long hallway was clean; Neji had assumed that it would be a mess like the blondes room.40

“Hey I never caught your name yeah.” Deidara gasped suddenly.41

“You don’t need to know it.” The brunette mumbled.42

“Ok then I’ll call you fluffy.”43

“…” Neji groaned and gave in, he stopped struggling and let him carry him too wherever they were heading to.44

They continued down the hallway and into a large room which was somewhere between a kitchen and a science lab. 45

Neji wrinkled his nose as the smell of something spicy filled the room. Deidara looked down at him, “What, don’t like spicy food?”46

“Bad experience..” He sighed, remembering the ‘Curry of Life’. He brushed his long brown hair out of his face and surveyed the room. 47

“God youre heavy.” Deidara whined.48

“Then put me down.” Neji grumbled.49

“But then you will run away yeah.”50

Neji thought for a second then looked at the older man with his best emotionless expression. “I swear on my life I will not run.”51

Deidara hesitated then put him down. “Fine un.”52

As soon as his feet hit the floor, his eyes locked on the door just a few feet away.53
