The Fandalzo Men (chapter 5)

The tea-lady walks into the room and sees Lance dead on the floor and Luigi with a bloody knife in his hand.1

"W-W-What-W-is going on? asked the tea-lady so nervous that she was spilling some of the tea.2

"Now don't you go telling anyone, or I will be back, you hear?" said Luigi.3

"Oh, y-yes, sir, I p-promise I won't t-tell a soul".4

"Good!"5

The tea-lady placed the tea tray down on the table and left the room. Luigi couldn't really leave out through the door so he looked out of the window and there was an alley, so he jumped out and landed safely on the ground.6

But the tea-lady wasn't as scared and sweet as she seemed, she had rang the police and suddenly Luigi heard sirens just from around the corner, and this time, he was in for it bad, the big chase had started!7

Luigi ran so fast that a little old lady got knocked down by the gush of wind, he ran down Plarecco Hill and onto Rando Street where he hicthed a taxi and he held the knife to the driver and said drive fast and stay away from the police behind.8

"Right-ho", the driver answered.9

People were crossing the road but the driver had no time to stop and went straight through them, knocking only one over, no injuries though. He skidded round corners, and knocked several cafe chairs over as he was driving. Luigi had lost the sound of police sirens, and said to the taxi driver,10

"Ok, you can stop now!"11

Luigi looked through the window very carefully, looking if he could see any cop cars just sitting there, he couldn't, and so he said,12

"Ok, drive on, but normally now".13

"Right-ho", the driver said once more.14

Then all of a sudden, a police car skidded out in front of them from a little side car park at the side of a building, then a load of police cars appeared, oh dear, Luigi was going to get it this time for sure.15

The policemen got out of their cars with raised guns and shields.16

"Get out of the car, drop all weapons and put your hands up!" ordered a policeman using a megaphone. Luigi slowly got out and the policemen moved ready to fire. A few of them walked up to him and said, 17

"You are under arrest for the robbing of a bank, killing 50 people and killing your brother Lance, you may not wish to say anything, although if you do, it may be used as evidence against you in court."18

Luigi was taken down to the prison and put in jail, and the policeman said,19

"Your trial will be on Wednesday 13 October 2005, a guard will come to get you 3 hours before at 8 o clock, be ready!"20

What was Luigi going to do now?21

He was behind bars, his brother was dead, this could be the end of The Fandalzo Men, a legend, forever!22
