The Struggle for Power & The Fight for Survival

Power is something we all have in different areas of our lives,
whether we find it or not. An ef fective power requires
responsibility and common sense. Power is the desire to control
from either a positive way or a negative way. We need power to
survive and survival is part o f our nature, but what makes a
dif ference is the path we choose. We face problems in our daily
lives such as the financial, crisis, losing a job, losing a home,
relationship problems, suicidal thoughts, wars, poverty, torture,
sicknesses and so on. We need the power of hope and action to
see positive changes taking places in our lives and our societies.
Conflicting interests are fields for corruption, greed, murder,
racism, religious fanaticism, communism, torture, labor
exploitation, slavery, failed leadership etc. Frustration leads man
to powerlessness and desperate people do desperate things to
survive. In this book, I have chosen to express mysel f through
poetry because poetry is a powerful tool and it goes beyond logic.
In this book, I will focus also focus on dictatorship, religious
fanaticism, the international crisis etc. There will also be
encouraging poems o f hope, justice, peace and unity.
