Once a phoenix starts a journey
Starts the journey of his life
From the ashes resurrected
Wraps the journey and then dies1
In between, there lies a phoenix
Like a man who lost his love
Phoenix carries all the memory
Of the thousand years he lived2
Lies the phoenix, cries the phoenix
Of the loved one who has died
Of the loved one, sings the phoenix,
Songs of days and nights gone by3
Sees the phoenix, tries the phoenix
Sees its death and tries to win
Burns the phoenix, dies the phoenix
Dies an honored death of pain4
Then the phoenix, resurrected
Tries to think of his gone love
Of the phoenix, thinks no phoenix
And the cycle continues…

Fantastic!!!
This is one of the best poems i have read on storywrite. It flowed like water. I like the theme of the poem and by the way, awesomely versified

Stanza three and four are my most favourite one. The poem was just perfect and i have no critique to make. And i think that only three clappies are less for this one. So,

Anyways, Happy writing in the future and good luck in all the contests.
