Silent Reaping prt 1

Raige stared into his foe’s eyes, his face was in pure disgust while looking upon the demon in front of him . His green eyes were glowing the deadly color they did when he was getting ready to fight. His upper lip pulled back as he hissed, his fangs elongating, ready to tear through flesh. He dark hair moved across his face in the wind, blocking some vision with strands here and there. His hands were a little shaky from the rage boiling inside him. The demons eyes went to look at Raige’s hands, which were covered in blood from scratching his face.
“Blood sucking scum,” the gray skinned demon spat. He lifted his battle axe and charged towards Raige. Raige grabbed the dagger from behind his back and blocked the attack of the axe with it. The metal scraping against each other hissed and sparked. The demon smirked, as he twisted around and climbed up the stone wall behind him, making the torches sway from the speed of his movements. Raige followed him, frustration covering his handsome pale face.
This was his time, his once chance to avenge Trinity, and the demon has only been playing games with him for the past hour that he’s been him.
The demon was standing in the middle of the stone room, which was bare, except for a few wooden tables.. His skin began to flash red as if on fire, and it looked like Raige was seeing double as copies of the demon began to flow out of him and move around.
Ten gray skinned demons with horns that were surrounding the stone walled area stared down at him with yellow cat like eyes grinning maliciously.
Raige’s eyes scanned them all as they started to move all at once, lifting their axes. Two charged at him, one from the left and one from the right. Raige pulled out another dagger from the side of his left leg, swinging around as his blade met one of the axes as the other attackers axe zoomed over his head as he ducked. The battle raged on like that for a while of ducking and metal scraping together, and blood shed began, as Raige one by one slashed through the demons many hearts until he got to the creator of the small army.
Raige was sweating, the battle pumping in his veins.
“Worn out blood sucker? Can’t handle all of me? Your sister couldn’t either such a pity too, I had great expectations for her,” the demon grinned, his own fangs flashes in the torch light.
Raige’s blood boiled, images of his sisters mutilated exposed fleshed on her bedroom floor of their house flooded his mind, making him sick.
Raige charged at the demon, and that’s all that he remembered, after that, everything went black…..1

“Hey I think he’s coming around!” an unfamiliar childish voice called excitingly.
Raige’s eyes fluttered, vision blurry. He looked around when his vision finally cleared. He was in some kind of hospital room and a little girl was sitting in a chair next to him, where he saw all kinds of machines and he noticed that there was an IV in his arm. He tried to lift his head, but felt a wave of dizziness overcome him so he let his head fall back.
“Mister, are you okay?” the girl asked, her blue eyes showing concern as a piece of blonde hair fell into her face as she scooted closer to the bed he was laying on.
Raige looked at her and thought about that, was he okay, and where was he? He frowned, that last thing he remembered was going after Deacon, that wretched demon who raped and mutilated his sisters body. His face began to feel hot. Then he remembered that he had no clue to where he was and tried asking the little girl, but his mouth didn’t seem to want to work.
“Mister?” the little girl got closer,” Did you hurt your throat? Fluffy bottoms will help you feel better.” The little girl put a stuffed rabbit between his chest and arm.
“Anya, leave the poor guy alone sweetie,” a young woman with long red hair said, wearing a white doctors coat and black slacks said coming in from the door. She walked over towards Raige and pulled out a thermometer from her white coat.
“Can you please open your mouth?” she said putting the thermometer near his face. He opened his mouth slowly, and clamped it shut on the theometer. He stared into her mysterious purple eyes. He found her very attractive which made him frown. A vow he made of celibacy clouded his mind, along with his blood lust that was taunting him.
“Your fever went down, which is good. I’m sorry about my niece, she has fascination with vampires,” the girl smiled.
Raige smiled at the little girl, who was watching his every move, studying him. She blushed slightly and looked the floor.
“Anya, could you please leave?” the girl asked.
“Why Auntie? I haves to stay and watches over him!” Anya protested making a pouty face.
“Anya, go, I have to change his bandages, and we all know that you can‘t handle the sight of blood,” the girl said sternly.
Anya frowned, and looked up at Raige. “I’ll be back later mister, I’ll bring my favorite story and read it to you,” she smiled and jumped up and kissed him on the forehead.
Raige felt a sense of peace in him, as if that kiss on the forehead just took away all his troubles and pains. He wanted to reach for the angel that had been watching him sleep, and keep her near, just so he didn’t ache on the inside anymore, but instead he watched as she walked over to the door and left closing it behind her.
Anya left and shut the door behind her.
Raige felt a flood of confusion overwhelm him. He still didn’t know what happened, and he really didn’t understand why that little girl affected him like that.
“Your wounds are pretty bad, and I don‘t want her having nightmares about what happened to you. Angels don‘t handle forms of violence very well since they‘re loving creatures,” she said moving the sheet that was wrapped around his body. He noticed that he was shirtless and there were bandages all over his chest with blood seeping through them. His eyes narrowed, trying to remember how those got there, coming to blank.
“I’m Scarlet by the way, but you may call me Scar if you like, that is once your throat is healed and you can use it again,” she said as she concentrated on taking off the dirty bandages and cleaning up the cuts.
Raige flinched at the pain that was now all over his muscled chest and stomach. He looked to see how bad the damage was, he had a big gash in his stomach and his chest had scratch marks all over it and he noticed that one of his silver looped nipple rings were missing, so his left nipple was torn a little, and his arms looked like he had suicidal thoughts towards himself.
He watched her clean up his cuts, admiring how gentle she was with him and loving the feel of her touch on his body, which made him shake his head at even the thought of such.
She looked up at him and smiled when she re-wrapped his wounds.
“There, all cleaned up. I think by tomorrow night they’ll be completely healed, it’s been taking longer since you obviously haven’t fed in a while. And to let you know why you can‘t talk, you seemed to have consumed some kind of poison which had a strange muting spell on it ,” she said while walking towards the end of the bed grabbing a clipboard.
She started writing information now with a pen that was connected to the clipboard.
“If you need anything, just pressed that button on the side of the bed, and either myself or one of my staff will come in to meet your needs. I will also be back later to talk about the feeding issue, since you‘re at a critical strange of blood lust which can end very badly, and a witch doctor will be hear later to get rid of that awful spell so that you can tell me what happened to you.”
Raige watched her leave the door and shut it softly. He moved his head to the side looking at the button she had gestured towards. He noticed a remote control.
He picked it up and looked up towards the right corner of the room and turned it on.
On the screen the Mystic Community News was on, a hidden channel that there was no way the humans could find because of all the magic used to conceal the signals.
A young female Faery was crying over the humans tearing down her forest home. She was going on that the mystic community needed to make a stand before they destroy all of us just like they destroyed most of the animal and plant life over the years. Raige began flipping through the channels. His stomach clenched in pain, which didn‘t feel to good with the other pain that was now consuming his every being. He really did need to feed, but he just didn’t feel like taking up a females vein, the temptation of sex was too high.
He sighed, his celibacy was for Trinity, after seeing her the way he did because of that demon. Just the thought of Deacon made his flesh crawl and goose bumps began to show on whatever pieces of his arms that were exposed.
Raige turned off the TV, since nothing of interest caught his eye. He began to grow frustrated. He didn’t remember what happened, and obviously something interesting happened if he ended up being poisoned somehow and mutilated like he was. While he was mulling over his thoughts, he didn’t realize that the pain in his body seemed to cease or hear the foot steps of the little girl as she walked in and sat next to him, brushing a brunette porcelain dolls hair humming.
“Mister, you seem upset,” the girl finally said, staring into his eyes as if looking for his soul, if he felt he had one.
Raige had jumped a little, and looked up at her and smiled, and shook his head, trying to reassure her that he was fine.
“Well I brought my book,” she smiled, while leaning to her right to pull out a book from her extremely large bag that she must have brought with her.
She opened up the decent sized novel, which seemed a little too big for her to be reading since she only looked to be about six or seven, “It’s Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.”
She began reading it, without making any mistakes, and after the second chapter, Raige found himself dozing off to the sweet sound of her voice, the voice of an angel.3

“Madam! Wait, Alyssa wants us to give you something,” yelled a demon with green eyes, running with his companion to try and catch up with the female down the hall.
A young woman with long red hair stopped from walking down the corridor and turned to face the two demons that had been chasing her down.
“Well what is it?” she said annoyed crossing her arms under her small chest.
“Alyssa said that she went to check on the prisoner to see if he passed yet, and all she found was a note and a scent of fae magic,” the demon with green eyes said.
“How did that bastard escape us?” she said, frustrated with the news of her recent captive.
She began to pace frantically in a circle around the two demons with yellow skin in front of her.
“We’re unsure madam, but Alyssa thinks whoever wrote the note had something to do with it,” the younger demon with grey eyes said holding out a letter to her.
She yanked it greedily from his long nailed hands, and looked at the back, the wax that held it close had a familiar symbol to her.
Her brows furrowed and she opened the letter. As she began reading, her face turned into an ugly snarl. After she was done she squeezed the letter between her fingers, her eyes looked like they were ablaze with fire.
“That bitch!” she growled throwing the note on the ground and stomping down the dark corridor.
The demon looked down at the note, and smiled, someone was going to be paying dearly tonight…4
