Renoir -- a RE-NOIR screenplay-scriptwriting open-source software package2

I. Introduction3

"… it's always the same film." Jean Renoir (p. 147) 4

[I. Singer. Three Philosophical Filmmakers, c. 2004, paper.]5

This software package, Renoir, is open-source, meaning the name is to a brand name for software that is freely open to change in its source code.6

[Wired. C. Thompson. "Build it, Share it, Profit." Nov 2008 Pp. 166-176] 7

(p. 172) David Mellis software for Arduino micro-controller. VIA laptop.]8

The story is always the same film. In Grand Illusion a friend lays down his life for his two friends to save them from the prison of their life of hatred. 10

A war in a society sees only grandly illusion. None see the end to begin.11

This package of software consists of a formula for screenplay-scriptwriting.12

It seeks to take text and renew it into text for Screenwriter Pro v3.5. The use of this but this so this in the text but-so allows bracketing and blocking. The WORD but acts like a period in grammar, and the WORD so acts like a colon in grammar. This then acts like a meta-language or editing language.13

Use but and so . The brackets block the text between them.14

The logical relationship between the variables in the formula follow the laws of De Morgan that says (no p) q : if no p then q. If but p, then q and so forth.15

Nevertheless p, then Moreover q. Logic is formalistic in structured prose.16

II. Formula17

In writing a screenplay of a movie film here is a formula: this but this so this.18

V. Conclusion124

This open-source software provides a script for screenplay-scriptwriting.125

It uses but-so logic to bracket and to block text for Screenwriter Pro v3.5.126

It attempts to tell the same-story for film: the same-way each-time formula.127

And it does renew or redo a NOIR story with RE-NOIR. RENOIR is free use.128

This means that RENOIR is a brand name under Creative Commons License.129

Anyone may use this free use open source software by paying a small fee.130

This makes film scripts open source for worldwide development and use.131

RENOIR is a brand name for speculation under Thomas McClure 2008.132

Appendix133

De Morgan's Laws134

44. (p & q) > - (-p v -q), where $, 'and', v, 'or'.135

45. (p v q) > - (p & - q), (p. 101) [B. Mates. Elementary Logic, 1965]136

47. 44. > p [substituting q > p]137

48. 44. > q [substituting p > q]138

49. (p & p) > p139

(no p) q means -p > q; 44. > q; 44. > - p; (-p & -p) > (q & q); -(-p v q)140

De Morgan's Laws (1662) (p. 214) [Mates, 1065] [A. Geulincx. 141

'Logic Restored to the Fundament from Which It Previously Collapsed.']142

[Note the similarity to the collapse of the wave function in mathematics.]143

In mathematical terms, if 'and' is +; 'or' is x, where + is addition; x times, then 2x2=4=2+2. In logic, when p>q and q>p, iff p = q, where = is equals. [iff means if and only if]144

RENOIR allows text editing to insert other lines of dialogue in the above.145

For example,146

"This is it, is it?"147

"This is what?"148

"The future. Where it all ends. Leftover life."149

"It's a new beginning."150

Addendum178

I. LSE 179

LSE, a logical summation engine, is based upon a left shifting register of data by one binary place, or multiplying an octal number by two, or by adding an octal number to itself. It uses carry and sum from180

De Morgan's theorem.181

DeMorgan's Theorem 183

(A·B)' = A' + B' (NAND)184

(A+B)' = A' · B' (NOR)185

II. Adder Logic186

Inputs Outputs187

A B Carry Sum188

0 0 0 0189

0 1 0 1190

1 0 0 1191

1 1 1 0192

The Carry output is a simple AND function, and the Sum is an Exclusive-OR. Thus, we can use two gates to add these two bits together. 193

II. Register Example195

0 1 0 1196

Octal 05197

Move one bit to the left by carry AND logic; set the right most bit by sum XOR logic:198

1 0 1 0199

Octal 12200

Decimal 10201

Octal 5 + 5 = 12; Octal 2*5 = 12 ; Binary 101 + 101 = 1010202

III. Conclusion203

LSE provides a more efficient adder as a shift multiplier using only carry AND logic for the left most bits; and using only sum XOR logic for the right most bit 0.204
