Rai wiped the blood off of his forehead and stared at it as it trickled off his fingertips. Hannah was shaking with a new found fury. She wasn't sure how to control herself at the moment. So many things were going through her mind. 4

Rai glanced down at Emily's body with a scowl. This wasn't suppose to happen... He thought to himself. 6

"Why?!" Hannah screamed at him as she approached.  8

She got right up to his face as she yelled, searching his eyes for answers. He stared back at her grimly. Rai's eyes were devoid of emotion. Or maybe so much emotion it couldn't be seen. 10

"They're going to come back! Just like always! And they are going to be together just like always!" 12

Rai's hand contacted with her face. "Shut up!" 14

Hannah stumbled back and put her hand on her cheek as she looked up at Rai. He was now shaking with fury instead of her. His eyes were dark and his hands were both balled into fists. 16

"You can't break the cycle, Rai..." Hannah said softly. 18

Rai's eyes went wide for a second. Suddenly, he doubled over and started to cough. A cough that ripped through his whole being. It wasn't long before blood started to follow each one. A small pool of blood formed under him. 20

Sarah reached out her hand and tried to get close to him. He looked up at her. As Rai panted to catch his breath he held his knife up again.  22

"It's not you." He wheezed. "It's me."  24

"Rai you have to get hel-" 26

"I don't have to get shit, Sarah! I'm DYING we all know it! We've known it for how many lives now? There's nothing that's going to help! I'll just continue to hack up blood until I end up like Romeo and Juliet over there!" He hissed. 28

"You loved her." Hannah said with a straight face. 30

Rai turned to her slowly. "Love her...?" 32

There was a long silence. Hannah kept her pose. Sarah stood nervously nearby. Then, Rai began to laugh. A laugh that made both of the girls shudder. It sent a shiver all the way down to their feet. 34

"I can't love something that's dead. Emily, Alister...That damned child they were having. It's one less thing out of my way." He spat. "But be nice to them and give the little infant a little grave of it's own will you? I was going to kill it anyway." 36

Rai walked back to the car and got in, starting it up. He took one last look at the sisters. "We'll all be dead soon." 38

He wiped the blood from his mouth, and drove away.  40

Alister and Emily were buried side by side a few days after. Hannah made arrangements with the next town over to have them buried in the cemetery they had recently planted flowers in. 44

Shortly afterwards, by the Vance family grave stone, a small stone with the letter V on it was placed in the grass just outside the confines of the family site. Rai's twisted idea no doubt. One for the baby. 46

Six months later, Hannah found Sarah dead in her bedroom upstairs. Suicide.48

Having nothing left to hold onto in this town, she buried her last sister and left town. She later got married and had a few children.50

Rai's body was found not to long after Hannah moved out of the town. He was the last one remaining. When they found him he was slumped over Emily's grave. A single gunshot to the head. Legend has it you could still see the tears in his eyes and blood dripping from his mouth when they found him. No one knows where he is buried. Some say he lies under the school...52
