What We Don't Know

Some things are so simple1

Others are not2

Like a background so complex3

You appear as an unadorned dot4

It's all around us5

A fragrance so strong6

Swimming in puddles7

More shallow than not8

You can't define it9

It won't float, it wont fall10

There is no sign11

To what we don't know12

A blank page13

Has a million words14

So when you don't know someone's age15

You look for what isn't there16

A guess will work just as well17

For some things can't be worked18

They are so inexplicable 19

Making you empty of words20

Then time will pass21

A lifetime, a day22

And you will cease to wonder23

Of that thing so long ago24

You don't know when you forgot25

Because you couldn't see26

There was no sign27

Of when we didn't know28

    Hehe, I have to think about it, but I think I've got your point, so that's great, hehe. You have not failed, you have suceeded and I very much like this! It seem very deep, and emotional in a way, and I loved the wording. It was not too overbearing, and it was short, I liked it.
    Keep writing.
